Well, since it's slow hopefully this post will be able to marinate.

I just got my grades back for this semester. 17 credits averaging out to a 3.9 for the semester, raising my total gpa up to a high 3.7

I 4.0ed Physiology, 4.0ed a gen-ed, 3.9ed orgo lab, got a 95% in anthropology which equates to a 3.7 for that class, got a 91% in bio lab which equates to a 3.6. Luckily bio lab is only 1 credit. I also got 2 credits of 4.0 for my research, but they are currently incomplete because my presentation isn't scheduled till end of May and I might skip it and just present at the end of July.
 
So, just in case anyone cares: Chris Solinsky broke the American Record in the 10,000 a few hours ago. 26:59. Absolutely blazin'!!!
 
I'm on the verge of drunk and I'm trying really hard not to be, hence the excellent grammar. I feel nauseous so I can't exactly go to bed right now. Just drinking tons of water right now so I'm not dehydrated when I wake up.

I know this has been mentioned before but this makes me wanna throw up even more now

Definitely just tried taking the cap off ofmy water bottle and it wans't even on .

It's actually delicious. The grilled slightly better than the fried. Not gonna lie, I couldn't hold back and not try it.

The Whiplash Whopper is amazing as well.

I love food promotions that only last a month.

I do that when I'm sober lol. I spilled pop everywhere today at my church youth group just because I'm ADD and have to touch everything.

I drink alone when I wanna get destroyed just because I tend to get naked or projectile vomit or do something really embarrassing. In public I'm reserved, I don't drink the entire fifth 😉
 
Canadians say pop. It confused me at first but i'm ok with it now. You're not Candian are you?

Not sure if I prefer toomuch or TMR as my SDN cool-cat handle. Maybe tmr (lowercase)? Maybe Too? Maybe Research? But not Much. Definitely not Much.

I'm not canadian, but Michiganders say pop as well. Canada is fun, I was going to go on Friday, but my buddies mentioned strip club and I opted out.
 
Went to cheesecake factory today and had Bang bang chicken and shrimp. No leftovers to eat tomorrow thoguh 🙁
 
I can hear the people who live udner me arguing. I think it's going to turn into a fistfight.
 
I've only been to michigan once. Otherwise no midwest for me.

I think i like toomuch, but it just might be too many letters for me. Too many acronyms to know anyway so i dont know if i'm down with TMR

You gotta try bang bang chicken and shrimp, tha tis if you're ok with a peanut curry sauce. They give just the right amount of chicken and shrimp. sooo good.

I'm down with peanut sauce, is it like the sauce on Pad Thai? I don't think there's a Cheesecake factory in Michigan. I'll check. It's a solid date spot, right now I have this sushi bar as my go to spot. The Chef now knows me and hooks me up when I bring in a girl. I.e. flowers on the plate, free desert, comes to the table and says something nice, etc.
 
Damnit, no cheesecake factory in Michigan, the closest one is like 7 hours from my house.

I lived above a loud couple for a while. The guy was a generally aggressive d***, but he got beyond aggressive once, so I called it in. I also call in drivers that seem inebriated (better arrested than in the hospital).

OH I'm 21. Not my birthday today btw.

Definite triip to michigan in June for a wedding.

idk maybe in between. i don't weigh that much so the stuff kinda hits me more quickly tha n average I guess.

whaat? There's not really a sauce on pad thai. THey might cook it more wet than usual, which I prefe,r but BB chicken and shrimp is a little spicier and there's coconut shavings on top. I don't think it's for eveyrone but i definitely enjoy it. I'm really surpised there's no cheesecake factory in MI. Their menu is prety diverse.

Dude, I wish I had some physician cash on me right now, I would soooo invest in a Cheesecake Factory.

Any dish with the word bang in it is probably delicious.

I prefer my pad thai wet as well.

I wish I was as drunk as you right now float.

You're right, I'd probably invest in making it rain at the clubs, flashy clothes, extremely attractive female escorts, and trying to get a columbian syndicate for my future drug ring. That Cheesecake factory seems way too conservative of an investment.

Well I could get lucky by just taking a plane to columbia and running into someone who runs a cartel or something. But yeah, physician cash can't get me a ferrari, how the hell am I gonna open up a Cheesecake Factory?

Cheesecake Factory doesn't offer franchise opportunities anyway. And if you're an extreme saver, maybe you can afford that Ferrari.

Med school is pretty much like high school, except people are all 21+ and can go to the bars. That's true pretty much everywhere in my experience.

Maybe they are just talking like big shots but won't be that crazy when they actually start? :xf: Or maybe you just met a bad subset 🙂 I'm sure there's going to be people there from all walks of life. Besides, if they suck; the great thing about NYC is you can always find other cool people to hang out with!

Actually med school makes it a lot worse... it's because of the stop and go nature of it, with immense amounts of stress and pressure before an exam, followed by a small window of relief after it. That's one of the reasons a lot of the "top tier" schools are trying to go away from grades to make it less ridiculous. After pulling 4-5 days with 4 hours sleep and 20 hours studying, people just want to get annihilated and stop thinking about whatever subject they were just studying haha. This is pretty much how investment banking was too, haha.

so now i'm feeling excited about my future academic experiences but really depressed about how lonely and friendless i'm going to be. though i'm trying to remind myself that the people who have more in common with me might be too quiet to have introduced themselves... so i just didn't meet them. :xf:
