TOGO, Japan -- Ryo Ishikawa shot a 12-under 58 -- the lowest score ever on a major tour -- to win The Crowns on Sunday for his seventh Japan Tour title.
The 18-year-old Ishikawa tapped in for par on the par-4 18th after his 15-foot birdie try slid inches by the cup. He had 12 birdies in his bogey-free round on the 6,545-yard Nagoya Golf Club course.

honestly, i was really excited about everything *except* for the people. that was disappointing even if it didn't quite manage to outweigh alllll of the other major positives. i only met 1-2 people that i felt like i could/would be friends with... i was shocked how many people had the frat boy/girl mindset of "every spare second i get during school is going to be spent drinking." i mean, i get that i'm a huge loser and choose to spend my time differently than most other 23-year-olds, but i thought in med school there would be more people like me.

so now i'm feeling excited about my future academic experiences but really depressed about how lonely and friendless i'm going to be. though i'm trying to remind myself that the people who have more in common with me might be too quiet to have introduced themselves... so i just didn't meet them. :xf:

Maybe it's just a crowd mentality thing, a few people really love that kind of stuff and are really vocal about it, and a few others who aren't really against it just went along with it. I'm sure there's alot of nerdy jewish guys in a school called Mount Sinai 😉

Well, since it's slow hopefully this post will be able to marinate.

I just got my grades back for this semester. 17 credits averaging out to a 3.9 for the semester, raising my total gpa up to a high 3.7

I 4.0ed Physiology, 4.0ed a gen-ed, 3.9ed orgo lab, got a 95% in anthropology which equates to a 3.7 for that class, got a 91% in bio lab which equates to a 3.6. Luckily bio lab is only 1 credit. I also got 2 credits of 4.0 for my research, but they are currently incomplete because my presentation isn't scheduled till end of May and I might skip it and just present at the end of July.

That happened to me once, sort of. The neighbor living next door was fighting with her daughter, I was sleeping, and they were REALLY loud. Annoyed, I tossed and turned in my bed really quickly, and I accidentally bumped my elbow into the wall really hard. Then, suddenly, the arguing stopped, and I was like "oh ****, I didn't mean to bang on the wall, they must've heard it." Then BANG BANG BANG they banged right back at the wall for quite a while, and resumed arguing. FML :laugh:

Pretty well, pretty relaxing. You do the P90x stuff right? I tried AbRipperX yesterday, and oh my god it's hard. I think it took me about 45 mins to complete that 15 min workout :laugh:

That workout is pretty hardcore... Crossfit is pretty hard too, but you need to be pretty strong (and light) to do some of the exercises. Maybe dw would be good at them haha

He was tight. Played a good chunk from his older album so if you are gonna see him I would pick up those songs along w/ Troubadour.

I wish he woulda played Somalia and America bc they are 2 of my fav songs.

Besides that it was a tight show. And there was literally no one there when he came in town so it was more of an intimate setting.

this i why i refuse to see rap live. i've only been to one rap concert bc it was free (ludacris, chamillionaire).... I just don't think I would get my money's worth

Though I do think I want to see Hova live... it's on the bucket list
 
snoop was pretty amazing. kanye was even better but i think he would be like one of those gunners in med school though, so it wasnt surprising but still the best time of my life
