how does it work with holding one acceptance post may 15th? as in when/if we get more acceptances?
 
you'll probably have to make a full decision w/n 1-2 weeks (as in withdraw from all but 1 school)
 
This weeks Hills and the City are so juicy. I can't believe Heidi and Spencer were so mean Stephanie like ohmigod.

i totally understand ksmi! when i withdrew from 5 this morning, i had to stop before sending each email and convince myself i really wanted to do it before hitting the "send" button!

At lots of schools students are free to schedule shadowing in their free time, and I'm assuming most schools will help set things up.

Thanks. I'm getting more nervous and anxious by the day, because it seems to be a strange admissions year for Baylor and I'm not sure which direction things are going. :xf:

But, yeah, I would think that if I were going to get 25k/year from VCU, I would have found out about it already.

haha which ones are you holding? are you still waitng on fin aid? i completely agree that it's so hard to figure out which school you'll fit in at/like the best. it seems like i hear completely opposite things about a school either on here or from current students, it's hard to keep it all straight!

Oh my gawsh, I can't wait till next Tuesday. The City and The Hills are gonna be sooooo juicy and the dramaaaaa. I'm so giddy.
 
I'm gonna rank my schools, not considering money, and then go from there:

1. WashU
2. JHU
3. Vanderbilt
4. Baylor
4. UVA
6. Tulane - $
7. LSU-NO - $
8. LSU-S - $

Just looking at this, it seems fair that I should at least withdraw from Baylor and UVA. I'm not getting merit money from either and with Tulane being around the same level but with money, I think I'd pick it over both of them. Also, why would I go to either one if I had to pay the same amount (basically) to go to one of my top 3?

Sigh, sorry. I just need to think out loud.

it's gotta be the latter.

ksmi-i like the idea of a non-monetary ranking first then going from there. it seems really reasonable to withdraw from baylor and uva based on what you already know. maybe a list would help you too bob!

I think you should withdraw from UVA, Baylor and LSU-S. That's my honest opinion, even though others might consider me biased with the Baylor thing. :laugh:
 
I wish I could make a list.

Of course, if I would have gotten into any of the other schools I interviewed at, there would be no point to a list because I would know where I'm going.

haha i sometimes make decisions way more complicated than they really are when i'm bored too. especially looking into buying a new computer/tv/whatever...i can research it unecessarily forever just to entertain myself lol

haha i guess we're both failing on the losing 20lbs thing...oh well. sorry about the stress though🙁 last time i checked i was still at -8lbs (have been for like 2 months) so at least i seem to be maintaining that small loss.

Yeah, I'm still at like -9/10. But I was at -14 at one point so it's saddening. I'm starting P90X on Sunday though. So hopefully that will keep me motivated.
