It does a thing where it doesn't show the latest matchup page after midnight on Sundays, but then updates everything by tomorrow morning.
 
Yeah, seems like a good deal. My Dad found it at an estate sale and has tentatively agreed to buy it, contingent on its engine and everything checking out.
 
Lol, so I went jogging in my neighborhood about half an hour ago, cause i'm a night owl like that. As I rounded a corner, I saw a woman walking her dog at the next intersection ahead. She saw me and it was like she saw a friggin demon jogging slowly at her, and she just JOLTED the other way. Problem is, she has a huge ass dog, and the dog wasn't ready. And OMG, I have NEVER seen anybody pull on her dog as hard as she did. She was literally like this:

Except with an even bigger incline, but the dog is gigantic so for a few seconds she was just stuck there in that position. I started laughing so hard I couldn't jog anymore. I was like, man, so this must be how black guys feel like :laugh: I couldn't help but think back to the White Women Workout video 🤣
 
lol i sure felt that way. i've never scared the bejesus out of someone like that before, it felt strangely empowering :laugh:

But I'd probably have my mom do all my busy work too.....just not be talking to the Dean of Admissions. eek. lol. You better not miss any class or they'll call her back! :laugh:

I'm not at LSU anymore. And it's really not that big of a deal.
 
i bought a white coat yesteday. therefore i am more of a doctor than any of you.
 
do you guys get the short coats or the long ones

miami gets the long ones (as does the clinic), but i dont think mn does
 
Our white coat isn't until the end of second year...soooo sometime in 2012!

aren't the short ones kinda useless anyway? as in you can't carry much in the pockets?

Neither do I, but I do like them more than the short ones since they are normal coat length (read: don't look completely horrible). Post residency I'm wearing either A. scrubs or B. dress shirt/pants combo depending on my specialty. No white coats for me😀.

The pockets are decent sized on ours, I could cram a couple pocket sized books, a stethoscope and some snacks in them.

I'm planning on picking my area of interest based on clothing and nothing else. So, areas of medicine that interest me:

General/trauma surgery
Radiology (many that I've seen actually wear t-shirts instead of scrub tops 😍)
Ortho
EM
Hospitalist

:laugh: when i first skimmed this i read 'doggie size'. you know, like how paris hilton dresses up her chihuahua?
