she is 2.5 months old....and an indoor cat so no outside for her
locking her up means she will either...climb the clothes (nice sharp claws into nice clear clothes), pee on the carpeted floor (or WORSE!), or complain by meowing loudly. So instead....we let her run back and forth on the bed like a maniac....the racket she makes is ridiculous but I have learned to sleep through it....the bf has not and is hilarious to watch try to defend himself against her attacks.

umm, suny downstate acceptance(i think) out of nowhere. more attractive now that my parents are in jersey city, but im pretty set on miami so had to turn it down.

trex, u can always use tranquilizers 😀 nyquil mixed in with catfood would work fine, def works on dogs 😛

rock, yea i might do that. it sounds like a pretty hopeless situation either way tho, so there isnt that much of a point :/
 
Bad day. Didn't get much sleep. Then overslept. My grandmother's in the hospital. And something else. I apparently look like I got run over too because people who have known me for all of a week could tell I was upset. And my best friends from college are forgetting about me.

So Pandora plays me an okay set of classic rock and then...Matchbox Twenty?!?!?!? I don't think I like this "music genome project" nonsense. How do they get from classic rock in all of its bluesy, dirty, often distorted, sometimes even flute-led awesomeness to...oh, why? It then settled on "We Didn't Start the Fire." Don't get me wrong, I do enjoy the musical stylings of Mr. Joel, but "We Didn't Start the Fire" is nowhere near his best stuff.

Thank you internet, for allowing me to rant about a free, online radio on The Student Doctor Network, a collection of forums for ranting about free, online radios.

At least it's now playing "All Right Now" by Free.

it finds music by looking at ppl who liked and disliked the same songs songs. theyll assume(until u correct it) that ull like and dislike the other songs those ppl do as well. so apparently, ppl who like classical rock tend to like matchbox twenty?

Actually, Pandora (or Skynet for some reason) seems songs are selected based on the qualities of songs/artists selected by the user. Skynet employs professional musicians to analyze songs and, more or less, attach keywords to the songs. Skynet claims to have hundreds of these musical "genes." It works so well that even though I only entered classic rock bands, I keep getting hit with 80s hair bands, 90s pop bands, and, for some reason, some thrash metal. Skynet was designed poorly and will probably turn against us. Some would argue it has already turned against me.

Gunners typically try to make other people do bad. My schools known for not a ton of competition. Sure, there are tons finding their own way and tons of different study habits forming, but gunner is a really negative word that I don't think applies.

Ah that's good, but there's still a class rank I think, so you might find a gunner yet! I have a friend who's a second year there, seems like they do get some time to rest every now and then, so hang in there 😀

Oh really, that actually sounds kinda unscientific. They should use ppl's likes and dislikes to form the hypothesis(melodic sound and whatnot) rather than making hypotheses first and try to fit ppl's likes and dislikes to them.

Yeah, I've never seen a true gunner. The guys gunning for plastics/derm are kind of entertaining though, usually in a super-serious kind of way.

I've had to deal with that from the gf's cats and dog. I've kind of learned to sleep through it, but nobody can hold me responsible if I kick an animal in the middle of the night that is bugging the crap out of me. They deserve it.

I think depending on the school that this type of behavior tends to appear more towards m3, when you're graded subjectively directly against a group of a peers that you work with. I think most schools (except apparently uf) have the reputation of not being that competitive within the class but in general people are all smart, high acheiving ppl who want to do their best so you'll see some tension. At least that's my experience.

I'm feeling a possible breakfast food extravaganza tonight. I don't know yet...maybe a little too adventurous for a Friday night?

Btw met, I discovered the most amazing bacon, and it's been sitting in my family's fridge this entire time. It's from Costco (duh) and you just microwave it, but the crispiness is just right and there's no greasy mess to clean up! I'm totally stocking up on it when school starts.

Just because I want to spread the bacon love, I went ALL the way downstairs, looked in my fridge, read the package, and walked BACK upstairs to describe this: Kirkland Signature (the Costco brand), clear packaging on the back, black on the front, 48-50 slices, naturally hickory smoked, ~60 secs in the microwave, and you're on your way to bacon heaven.
