The cash was gone. 🙁 But the irreplaceable things (or really really hard to replace things) were still there.

haha yea after a team hits 10 home runs, every home run starts counting as an out. so USA hit 2 homeruns that counted as 2 outs in the final inning and then lost on a grounder with 2 men on base. pretty funny.

but the best part is that I found out that there are 2 minor league slow pitch soft ball leagues (A and double AA) before you can move up to major league professional slow pitch softball in the US

Okay, I didn't know that at the time. That makes sense now because I thought we won the game on a walk-off but it was out #2.

In one way I'm happy I don't have to deal with the stress of moving somewhere new, but the excitement of living somewhere semi-different has kind of already worn off by now.

Unit 2 exam tomorrow... Head, Neck, & Thorax, you are my... well, poo. I stopped swearing so this is not nearly as dramatic. But still, I'm gonna own them.

Good luck! Head/neck? That includes neuroanatomy? I'm embarassingly bad at neuro anatomy for someone going into neuro rads haha.

Fun, I diagnosed bells palsy on an ob patient the other day, it was pretty cool 🙂 guess those tests are good for something!

I am not ok with traffic going 0 mph on the interstate.
 
7 am lecture during 3rd year is just cruel and unusual punishment 🙁
 
yea hopefully i can continue my **** during med school (got a parking spot behind my lab) and cut down on my phd
 
I'm still getting used to the whole not working thing.

Finding ways to be more productive: working out, cleaning, cooking, organizing, etc... I should probably play more guitar and stuff. I'm also keeping busy looking for honeymoon destinations.
 
yea im not the type to go to class, people have completely skipped them here. i wanna say ill at least go the first month (we have anatomy spread through out the year so its not like a giant intensive block), but we'll see. our schedule is like 5 half days
 
I mean, you'll have some bs small groups and patient experiences you have to go to in addition to labs. Sucks about anatomy, they keep the cadavers around for a whole year??? 😱

I'll see what happens after the first exams. I think our schedule is set up like MWF 8-3 or 4 (yuck) and TTh 8-12 or 1 unless there is small group stuff. In the spring, it's more like 8-12 or 1 every day.

I'm so happy we finish anatomy in one semester. I think I'll like anatomy, but I just don't feel like dealing with it for a whole year and I'm glad we don't have to.

Even though I'm not working and have a bunch of free time, I'm settling into a good sleep pattern. For some reason, I can't sleep excessively late at my apartment and that's probably a good thing.

My anatomy classes kept cadavers a whole year. (Except this one cadaver which apparently was already rotting before we received it...eek!) 😳

Woo I've started staying up/waking up late this past week... such a nice time to have a bad sleep schedule right before I change timezones and start school. 🙄
