I hope that game is awesome for everyone else's sake because the buildup hype is getting a bit excessive.

In other news, I love waking up between 9:30 and 10 to make a nice breakfast and enjoy the morning.

It's kind of hard for it to disappoint since so many people have already played basically the full game. Thousands have already played online matches for the past few months, so we know exactly what we're getting. And it's awesome.

For some international perspective, this game will probably be the unofficial (or maybe even official) sport of South Korea for the next 5-10 years. No joke.

My move to philly is getting odder and odder by the day. I'm not getting into philly w/ my stuff till 10pm on W. And my mattress doesn't arrive till friday. It is what it is - but this will be the most interesting and coordination intensive move i've ever done :laugh:

Once again, I must say that I'm extremely happy I don't have to be doing that stuff yet. I don't really agree with taking away a summer when the rest of the schools in the country doesn't do it.

its pretty good, but quiet since 80% of the lab is in switzerland for another week. though, random people from other labs keep walking in and using kits/equipment for hours/days at a time without even saying hi. it's a little strange...

word is out that you were still in the lab at 10pm? gross. i suppose good if you're trying to be productive. at the moment i'm quite content that 5 min readings on the scintillation counter add up to a max of 3 plates in 24 hours. So I couldn't even do more work if I wanted to. It's a good thing for a summer rotation.

with that out of the way - yea I love gardening too. Knowing you helped life grow and flourish is awesome 👍 Also helps that I get to pick out fresh tomatoes, onions and okra for dinner earlier that morning 😀
 
Tried to make an easy raspberry clafouti dessert and then the internet with the recipe goes out. I try to wing it without knowing how much stuff to use so the cake turns out bland and I burned the crap out of my finger. :lame:

It will be better next time.

Starcraft 2 is now out (in the east coast). Can't wait to pick mine up ~ 10 hours from now. I'll be MIA for the next 3-4 days (wonder why...)

On a less lame note 🙂p), the new Avenged Sevenfold album is out on the east coast. Much more exciting theoretically, but I'll confirm that after I listen to my copy tomorrow.

I think I'm going to blaspheme SC2 for the next... I don't know, until it becomes uninteresting.

I used to be pretty obsessed with video games about 5 or 6 years ago (I once went through discs 1 and 2 of FFIX in 2 days 😳), but the things I hear people saying about this game is just pathetic. I don't think I've ever heard anyone talk about one video game for over a year.

heh I hear ya on that. Then again, when it's the successor of the one of the most successful games of all time, and took ~ 10 yrs to make - yea it's worth talking about for a year 😎 I'm actually looking forward to diablo 3 more - but SC2 will tide me over till then. Well, med school might help tide me over till D3 comes out too - but pft who care about med school 🤣

First bolded part, I totally understand.

Second bolded part (after the "and") is just ridiculous. That's almost worse than George Lucas waiting 34853843465 years before continuing Star Wars.

I'm in a better mood today. Rather than do the unhealthy, go get plastered thing, I did the unhealthy stay in and eat a bunch of oreos, but then the healthy go to bed early thing.
 
If I want to join the AMA or AMSA should I sign up online or wait for the school activity fair thing?

I thought since optho was included in ROAD, that POO was plastics oto and ortho. At least that's the impression I got from that thread.

Either way, I think I will go into one just so that I can tell people in school that I'm shooting for a POO specialty. :laugh:
