Not too worried about it to be honest. Arky's run defense is terrible. Against any decent rushing team, they gave up huge rushing yardage (Alabama would have had a ton more against them if they wouldn't have had to go into passing mode later in that game).

Cam Newton's a beast. But no way does he rush for close to 200 yards on us (and AU doesn't rush as a team for over 300). He'll have to throw and we'll see how our secondary handles it.

With that said, we aren't going to win if we can't score... and for some reason I expect Jefferson to start again.

I read some article like two weeks ago that implied that the LSU fan base liked Jefferson more than Lee. How could anyone think that? LSU fans aren't stupid. Unless your name is Les Miles. Lee's obviously better. Not great, just better.

If Jefferson sees >25% of snaps next week, LSU has 95% chance of losing (unless some crazy stuff happens).
 
great game by roy o'. cody ross making up for 3 out of the 5 giants run this far = lame. cant be pitching to him like that any more

btw, it looks like all the computer polls seem to have LSU at 1-2

I wish elections would just get over with. Let ***** 1 or 2 take over, it matters not. Just stop the ads, I don't even watch TV and I can't get away from them.

My understanding is that getting honors is about as worthless as wasting time trying to get honors. I'm trying to learn the material, not get honors, and I don't pay attention to rankings.

I'm not sure if I would if we had grades. I probably would, idk. We shall see how I act next year when we start grades.
 
I started out strong honoring my first two exams but now I prefer to sleep better and be content with those late 80 scores. I will forget most of this by the time I have to worry about Step 1 anyway.

Here, the first couple months of M2 are supposedly the hardest time of the pre-clinical years. I find it easier to motivate myself though since the information seems more pertinent and Step I is looming. There's thankfully no big time-sink like anatomy lab though, it's just lots of stuff to memorize.

and nothing wrong with wanting a nice lifestyle.🙂
 
well M2 can't be terrible here because the M1/M2 powderpuff game is today and apparently it's ridiculously competitive.

Every year someone goes to the ER.
The M2s hold 4 days/wk practices for their team.
They put together an intimidation video and played it in our lecture.
They dressed up in red white and blue spandex and had a choreographed dance in our lecture (yes, like 50 of them).
The made 10 foot posters of their players to hang up in our atrium.

Me thinks this is going to be the best powder puff game ever.

EDIT: found the video they just posted and emailed the whole school to try to further stick it to us, lol

This is what I'm hoping. I see the M2s writing their study material on the boards in group study rooms and it looks infinitely more interesting/relevant than the stuff I'm learning now.

HAHA that looks intense. I wish we had a game against M2s because there are 3 division 1 football players in my class. We would dominate.
