im sorta the same. on a restaurant menu i dont select an item where pork is the main dish, but if theres something with bacon in it (carls jr 6 dollar burgers) i dont care

the whole hookah thing/hypocricy is hilarious though. but thats religious people for you.

not too many of those people here or there. I think those people stay around Staten island or the shores of the state looking for ****** of the state.


being driving distance to everything is a huge advantage though. plus we can out parallel park the **** out of anyone from the other 23 states or however many there are in the country. 🙂

Ha ha. How about 50 states... Oh, and I'm pretty damn good at parallel parking. You have to do a ton of it in Downtown Denver where I live.

I'm very bored right now. I spent this morning working my research-y stuff for my conference/poster thingy. And I was supposed to have colorguard practice at 2:30, so I'd worked out times so that I'd finish around 2 and just head on over to practice. But now practice got moved to 3, so I have time to kill. The library is really boring in the summer.
 
Haha I didn't post for like 2 days and it was like I died or something. I think it's sad on my part that people expect me to post more often than every 2 days.
 
But then, we need our favorite mod to moderate us.🙄

you know, not saying this applies to everyone here, but i had a couple SDNers read my PS and say it was great. but then my research mentor (whose had a lot of her undergrads get into ucsf) told me to change it pretty drastically. and then i had a med school faculty member read it and he made pretty big changes too. seems like you just can't make everyone happy.

True. There's always corrections to be made even after a 10th person read your 10th draft.
 
how many of you guys have already done a bunch of your essays for secondaries? i'm starting to feel the pressure to get started on them...
