Well i took it because its a free A. I took his lecture and it was a ****ing joke...easiest A ever. The lab is very easy too. It was either take this or biochem lab and write multiple 20 page research abstracts...this class only requires like two 4 pg papers and he gives you an outline of how ot write it...think of it like a HS class lol. I ****ing hate all bio labs so i took this to replace one of the hard ass labs i have to take.

Its dissapointing no secondaries came out 🙁

Whatever floats your boat man. a 4 page paper on botany sounds much worse to me than a 20 page biochem paper.

I think it's tough because it's only 300-500 words and they leave it very open.

I remember reading something once, that said we wouldn't have a productivity problem in this country if we could get rid of all the damn meetings. I tend to agree.
 
Yup next thursday.
And I almost missed my lab meeting too! Good thing I heard someone locking up the other door in the hallway.

lol so true....i have research meetings once a week and they are by far the most useless things i do in my life. We do nothing of value except waste 2-3 hours while everyone is pretending to be interested or awake.

True...i have my 1st "real" lab today in another 2 hours...i may come back thinking you are right:laugh:. I have 5 classes left to graduate...i just want the easiest classes period and i dont even care about my grade...as long as its a B or better im good.

yeah. i have lots of regular meetings, most of which are a waste. my clinic meetings are helpful though-- we go through everyone's cases and figure what needs to be done, etc. it's helpful because of the info and it also adds accountability (you need to get stuff done or you'll look like a tool every week).

haha...sometimes thats the best part of our meetings...out of like 10 of us seriously only 3 of us ever get anything done or have work done...its always great to see people get tore into every week😉

oy, that would make me mucho uncomfortable and sad for people. fortunately my office is pretty laid-back so there's no "tearing into." but still.

my mcat is next thursday as well. i hate VR!!!!!!! I just hate it. No matter how hard i practice, i can only get a 7-8!!!!!

i was being sarcastic😉. It is awkward but i stopped caring...if theres one things meetings taught me, its to be able to look like you are paying attention while being completely zoned out 🙂

I got a 12 yesterday, but i'm afraid that it was a fluke. i'm usually 10-11.

I also realized that I need to go through orgo. I haven't done that yet, as I've just been putting it off. But yesterday a stupid bs section hit me hard with orgo. So review time tonight or tomorrow!

LSU and Texas are playing the last game of the baseball championship. I normally wouldn't be so crazy, but it is the national championship. And Blue is being mean.

no more slacking on secondaries will finish tulane and gtown today!! yipee =)

it feels so official hehe =)

is there a place on ther ewhere i can see my cumulative gpa based on amcas?

and which email address do you email amcas on..i need to email them about LORs!!

anyone using interfolio to send recs to amcas? have your recs been received! ??

go to "print application" and it will make a pdf. on the pdf will be a year-by-year GPA chart.

at work, and shouldn't be posting this because if i weren't posting this i could finish up and go home and watch desperate housewives which is my plan for the evening since my cough is still too bad for me to be able to work out or even show up at the gym without scaring people.

Also, my letters got done today. Well VirtualEvals told me that they have them now. Just waiting for AMCAS to get them now. I really didn't expect it to be done this soon. So I am very pleasantly surprised. Woo hoo!!

Ugh again with my view of things messing up top. My view shows witness with top, but I checked the other way to see that, in fact, dw does have top. So ignore me.
 
ksmi you should apply to a random school and write thiz iz my safety school on their secondary and see if you get in. a couple of schools offer free secondaries...
 
So now that my letters are done, I'm all paranoid that they aren't good. I guess it's just cause I haven't seen them. I wish I knew what people said about me. I did read one, and another was very close to a letter this prof had written for me before, and those are both good. But there's still 3 more I didn't see (2 profs and the committee). Bleh.

its already 4 no secondaries today...on the bright side my lab that i thought would be stupid is totally sweet...i hate plants but this class is so ****ing easy i cant help but love it...Im all about a free A! 🙂 This lab reminds me of those field trips you went on in like 3rd grade, with the same amount of work ahah so sweet!!

can anyone actually tell thats a cat in my picture? the more i look at it the more i tink it looks like a black blob🙁
