So I just got up to go to the airport. Some of you west coasters might not even have gone to sleep yet. 🙁 Anyways, have a fun (and safe) weekend guys!!
 
I'm almost done with one, and then going to work on another one, and then I'm done for the holidays.

why is anyone in california doing secondaries today? LOOK OUTSIDE
 
sigh theres this little kid next door that screams do re mi fa so la ti do over and over again at the top of her lungs for hours...shes been doing it for weeks...its killing me. I dont like kids just my own...haha....im horrible 🙁...she needs to be quiet 🙁

Yeah, but at least she doesn't play the alto sax. Or a stringed instrument. Or Clarinet. Or...
 
Random Question but.. what's the night life like in your respective areas? I have never actually heard of "last call" until a few weeks ago from a friend that goes to Penn St. for med... What time do places close (food, grocery stores, gas stations, etc.)? Kind of random.. but just a thought... I went out with my friends to celebrate the end of the summer session... lloonnnggg night >_<
 
sup. i just got in for class of 2014. gl to u all! dont get discouraged with secondaries. i did 17 and was about to do 30 for a second time around until i got the phone call (i got deferred matriculation, not like some crazy early interview lol).

Yeah, I know of at least two med schools that count the 3rd as the holiday for employees. I'm sure most are out on vacation today.

We'll get slammed come Monday 👍

yah nothing...on monday i can almost guarantee we will get at least 6 secondaries, i wouldnt be surprised if it was 10 lol...

Well, no secondaries today either. I guess it's "the holiday."
But I have a sneaking suspicion that our inboxes will be full of them come Monday.
Unfortunately, I'm working 50 hours this week, though. 🙁

Agreed. I submitted 5 secondaries today! It felt so good, now I just need to finalize my letters of rec and send them to AMCAS to be complete. Seriously though, Monday is going to be rough. I hope none of the schools I get on Monday change their prompts.

P.S. I'm in beautiful southern Utah! It's so awesome here. Headed to do a hardcore hike in the morning. Gotta be up at 5:30!
