im so F*CKING pissed right now.

i submitted my tmdsas app june 30. and have been waiting all this time to get verified. TURNS OUT you have to separately send your scores!!! wtf texas!?!? wtf!!! like seriously why couldnt they just have a note saying that you need to separately send them?!!?!? they asked for my aamc number...i gave it to them. they asked for the date of my mcat...i gave it to them. why the F*CK couldnt they have made a note saying you have to separately send your scores?!!?! i thought the request button meant they got it!!! god F*CKIN DAMNIT

in seriousness, that sucks, man -- have you already paid the whole shebang? If not, I'd be inclined to say screw em. With your stats, you're already set w/ AMCAS schools. If you've already paid, you're still ahead of the curve time-wise. Not the end of the world, just really flipping annoying

I got shafted like that in three classes. I'd have a 3.89 instead of a 3.78 if those classes had gone the other way 🙁
 
OK seriously today is the worst day ever, I called the vet and they said i should monitor the cat and if he is acting weird (vomiting or diarrhea) i should bring him in tomorrow. So I am sitting and eating in my living room and I start to hear weird noises. I think they are coming from next door. All the sudden my ceiling collapses in my kitchen!!!!

LOL. Sorry, I shouldn't be laughing, but our college house is so sh**ty I can't believe it hasn't fallen down or been condemned yet. If you're living on/near campus you can probably relate!! Haha:laugh:

Quick edit: you do relate, as your ceiling is falling down!
 
I live on the south side AKA the ghetto of madison, besides allied that is. lol. anyway i guess a guy from charter was trying to fix someone's cable and he fell (not through the ceiling). He is fine but there was insulation all over in our kitchen. I called emergency maintenance, they don't speak much english. no idea when this is getting fixed.

the hole is 2'x3'!

I resent your remark about TX. TMDSAS is way better than AMCAS. This year's app is a whole new app which is very convenient. I actually benfited from it. Plus...they will update your app as you submit new grades. AMCAS does not do this. And you can put more than 14 activities on there unlike AMCAS. TMDSAS has a rule sheet that mentioned that you have to personally send them your MCAT scores. They don't get it directly from the AAMC like AMCAS do.

btw...if our med schools suck, then why did you even bother applying here?
