If I had a LOR electronically sent from Interfolio last Thursday and it still hasn't showed up on AMCAS, should I call them, or maybe resubmit it? Or is it just taking longer because we're getting farther along in the app season? I just want to be complete!! 🙁
 
i've never made it out to UES. og from Queens and have been in other parts of Manhattan, specifically Union Square. I miss the city but not the rent though. However, food prices in NYC <<<< any other big city (i'm talking about the deli/chinese type places of course)

oh yea E and the W were right next to each other on the keyboard, my bad. UES is really nice. I'm not a fan of some of the boutique practices in the central park area (there are tons by that mickey mantle restaurant on like 59th or whatever), but they look like they are making cake

Manhattan is huge man, I would love to go back!

pssssh, i make my ~150 block commute in half an hour. no biggie 😀

oh, and UWS >>> UES. i love fairway and zabars. and lincoln center.

on a totally different note, theres a couple of huge roaches in the basement of my apt building and I always wondered how those roaches make it out to cities like philly and nyc.

😡 yuppies are delightful!

there was a HUGE roach crawling outside my supervisor's door this morning while i was sitting in his office talking to him... we killed it with a ream of printer paper. ew.
 
oh and i should mention that i work on the 16th floor of an uber nice building in the FiDi, so lord knows how roaches get up here.
 
too bad he still doesn't know how to throw a football, daryll clark will teach him to respect his elders!

and my advisor asked why I was only applying to 1 NY school 🙄
 
well, you are from NC, and the roaches are primarily known to originate and concentrate in South Carolina, so I don't think you'll be completely lonely 🙂

I don't know what I would do if I ever saw a roach in my house... :scared:
we have spiders around here, not roaches...

Maybe my cat would eat it!!!
