It's hard to gauge sarcasm on the internet -- it read as really derisive to me. *shrug* Maybe we need [sarcasm][/sarcasm] tags.
 
an interview this week would do wonders for my confidence and sanity, i hope one comes my way. just thought id share.

Definitely. im optimistic it will come. ill be rooting for you, me and the others on here without an interview yet.
 
I'll even root for people who already have interviews and want more. Those that don't have any still get first dibs, of course. However, I know that I'd like to get 19 interviews if possible (okay, it's not possible -- shush), so here's to the best for everyone!

Also, don't hate the Padres JimmerJammer. They're almost eliminated from the playoffs already. Just pity them.

Haha! my poor padres...it is so painful to watch them. people can say what they want about the yankees (and i hate them), but at least the steinbrenners want to win above anything else...cant say that about my franchise.

yes i will do this too, as soon as i get one! ill even just settle for one, and hopefully dazzle them and be done with this process.
 
So now I work the next 4 days, 9 hrs each. 🙁
Worst thing is, I need to do some things involving business hours, but if I work during business hours, how the hell am I supposed to get these things done? And then my next day off (Fri) I have to move into my new apt.
This week will not be fun (unless I get a Vandy invite, then I'll just die).

and btw, i forget who posted it, but that magic eightball site has got me hooked! its kinda scary. everytime i see a magic eightball im inclined to ask it if im gonna get into a med school. oddly enough, i've probably seen more magic eightballs within the last week and a half than i have my entire life...odd

woke up to a nice letter from VirtualEvals and AAMC saying my letters were in. I guess that means I need to ratchet up my efforts for secondaries!!
 
haha same! i got my letters in a week ago and ive decided im gonna finish my remaining secondaries within the week. i did 6 this weekend and am left with 4. unfortunately, they include georgetown, duke, ucla, and usc. im dreading georgetown and duke :/ not to mention i have a 10k+ autobio to cutdown in case ucsd decides they love me

Ok, so today Lowe's was supposed to come deliver my father's new grill and my mother's new dishwasher in the afternoon. I get a phone call from my father at 7:45 saying that Lowe's has now decided to come between 8-10 AM. So I drag myself out of bed. Just now, Lowe's called here and decided that they are now coming between 10-12. Wonder if they'll actually show up at all. *sigh*

Yea...the duke secondary sucks. They admit its mostly to weed out applicants who aren't serious...terrible.

I used to work at lowes and have to deal with that **** lol. You should start yelling at them when they get there...when customers used to do that, it was an insta 20% off like every damn time. 😛. Lowes is like the most unorganized stupid place I have ever worked at 🙂

I had the insomnia bug too. Could not sleep well for the life of me last night. Tossing and turning, nightmares, the whole shebang. 👎

And now, I get to sit here until Lowe's gets here.

Good news, I scheduled a mock interview for Thursday. So that's exciting. 🙂

i had one of those back in april. i dont see the point of putting me through an interview before ive even started this process. i guess my prehealth committee knows best 🙄
