Class of 2014!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Only two of the schools I applied to have even started handing out interviews. Jefferson, which only marked my letters received today and Case which I am applying to CCLM so I won't get one for awhile yet. I am trying not to be sad because I am obviously not really missing out but it is hard to watch everyone else get interviews. I picked slow schools!😡
 
One thing that's annoying is the fact that I only have 2 secondaries left, but the schools are so slow that I'll probably be in school before I even get them.

I know, it's making me really frustrated that AMCAS won't get my letter uploaded into the system, it's been 3 business days now and I'm getting impatient. 😡
 
I know what you mean, I heard MN takes FOREVER, hopefully I will have already gotten in somewhere else and won't have to fill it out. But that won't happen if none of my schools ever interview. Probably by next week I am hoping...

Well, hey, today's only Monday. We all have a whole 4 days left in the business week for stuff to happen, good or bad. Thursdays are when I start to get bummed about no news for the week.
 
At least you guys are complete... my school won't send out my committee letter and recs until "the end of August." It's tough seeing people get interviews already when I've submitted almost all of my secondaries but I know that I don't even have a hope for an interview until September, which is when my school sends out my letter packet :xf:.

Not that I'm not stoked for all those who got interviews already (because I am 🙂), its just so frustrating to know that I have so little control over when my apps will be reviewed.

That's a pretty crappy situation. I guess that's a potential downside to committees. It must suck to have no control over that, knowing you've done everything else right so far.
I'm sure things will pull through for you, if you can land a September interview, you can be fresh in their mind for the first round of acceptances.
Well, off to sleep for me, I hope we all see some more good luck tomorrow.

morning! i went to bed at 5, woke up at 9. and im fresh as a button!! :soexcited:

im not sure if this is my week. i started getting complete on the 27th. maybe next week is more likely to bring rejections and invitations??

dudes, my new commute to work (after i move on sunday) is going to be ONLY 24 MINUTES!!!! (according to google maps)

and i don't have to change trains.

and... my life is awesome.

my LOR is FINALLY complete at my school. sending it to AMCAS today. woohooooo. i guess it's back to writing secondaries after a 2 week break.

good question. anyone know how long to process it once AMCAS gets the packet? it is being sent in electronically if that makes a difference...

1-2 business days at most if it is not sent on a thursday or friday, of course
 
i would like to trade my vandy interview for a jefferson interview + one future philly interview (temple, drexel, or even penn state) + future considerations (if you get into vandy and would withdraw from schools, then i get your withdrawn interviews)

I was good for the most part, I didn't have the heart to harvest the little sisters... I think I saved all of them. I liked the ending, where you see their hands as they grow up, receiving the diploma, the wedding ring, the child's hand, and then all of em coming back together to visit you on your death bed years later... was kind of sweet. 😛
