New to this thread but my nerves have got the best of me 🙂
Got AMCAS verified yesterday and I'm already finishing up a few secondaries! And I got a UCSF secondary this morning, which was a nice little surprise since I know they screen

Anyway I'm a little worried about my letters since they won't be sent to amcas till august 25th so...oh well hope this cycle goes well!

I understand why small businesses do that, but it pisses me off EVERY TIME I have to reach a minimum amount. It is in total violation of the contract between the credit card and the business...and in 10 states, it's illegal (well, charging extra fees for credit cards -- like, $1 extra if you spend less than $20, etc.)

is it weird that i want an interview from pitt simply because their secondary is the one with the best design?!?!? i want to tell them that...maybe theyll give me one 🙄

Pitt's was pretty good, wasn't it?

Honorable mention goes to Georgetown/SLU/MCW (seems like they all use the same software).

georgetown's is identical to tufts...

its very bubbly looking. i kinda like. but Pitt ftw

i think im scared of georgetown's essay because its so many characters for a prompt ive been used to filling in only 1000 characters...thats probably why. im gonna go grow a pair and finish this by the end of today. ive held onto it way too long

Creighton uses the same one. I loved that interface, the best one by far. BU has one of the worst, IMO.

actually dont mind boston's. i HATED HATED HATED upstates. still do. their satus page is SOOO wack! like wtf?! just tons of letters and illogical abbreviations. the boxes overlap and the words flow from one to the other...real sloppy. dont like.

no i dont...what are you talking about?

im complete at 7, submitted 17, waiting on 5 screens, no secondary at 3 schools, rejected at 1, and havent heard from 6. pretty sure that adds up to 39...right?

the only secondaries i havent submitted but have right now are Duke, UCLA, and Georgetown. ill finish georgetown tonight, UCLA i have the "10 year plan" left, and Duke...duke is just a beast. maybe ill leave that for another week. haha

i liked vermont's because it uploaded courses from AMCAS directly for the pre-req section

youre an awful liar. youre immersed in this process more than any of us and are constantly on this site. theres no way you dont know exactly how many schools youre applying to.
 
My theory is that he really does remember his old one. He just doesn't want to share. He's hoping we'll forget soon enough. 🙁 But we wanna know, Blue! We care.
 
you people who don't know how many schools you applied to are in desperate need of my "progress chart" excel spreadsheet. i have a "keeping my secondaries organized" spreadsheet as well. they're yours for a small fee 😀

thanks for telling me, redrower. i have no idea why that spreadsheet seems to have gotten merged with another one. and it doesn't even have all my classes on it. very strange...

i didn't write out the whole things, just little bits to remind me of what they were. for example, in tufts' box, i wrote "diversity" and in yale's box, i wrote "why us."
 
oooh gotcha! i did a similar thing on my progress chart, but its prolly a better idea to put it on a new spreadsheet. you complete at a lot of schools?
 
ill put up my spreadsheet too, its a bit more fruity but thats what happens when you go to an undergrad like mine
 
here's what a random sample of what mine kinda looks like w/ hyper links to status checks and essays on my desktop. i like list formatting everything on excel so yea
