I'm excited for this week. Mainly because Baylor's supposed to send out invites.
 
hmm i predict an interview dry spell for me this week. i expect a hold from GWU and a possible rejection (up for grabs)

If I still played video games besides Rock Band and Guitar Hero, I would play my PS2. All my favorite games are for PS2, but I don't play anymore. I will finish some, though, before I start med school. It'll probably be the last time ever.

Yeah, I can't say that I haven't thought about picking up a PS3. My Xbox 360 has broken twice already. I'm sure it will probably break again. Plus, you get BlueRay with the PS3... Oh, and God of War! That has to be one of the all-time greatest games ever. I could have weeks of fun with the two newer ones.

Bah. You are supposed to use video games as a stress outlet. I'll be playing through med school, residency, fellowship, and practice. I have given up plenty a woman for my games, so if I gave my games up now I would feel like I should get another woman... I'll skip the girlfriend and just take the games and one night stands. 😉
 
Except all kick-ass games I like come only for 360. Halo series, Gears of War, etc.

Yeah, I spend most of my time with first person shooters these days. I played quite a bit of Call of Duty 4 and WAW until my Xbox broke. I am contemplating picking up Wolfenstein on the 18th. The last few games were awesome.

I enjoyed the first season of Entourage, but I'm not sure why I stopped watching it after that. I'll have to get caught up if there are a few good seasons of material out there.

If you're getting burned out on Entourage you should watch True Blood. That show is so addicting. I'm actually hoping they post tonight's episode online soon so that I can watch it.

And True Blood sucks - all this vampire crap is stupid and their image of Louisiana people is so far from the truth and I can't stand the accent.

I would have to agree. They messed it up with WAW, but Activision is releasing a new COD Modern Warfare in November. My social life will officially be over when that comes out.
 
360 is pretty cheap nowadays


i gotta move into my new place (lease started aug 1st) but ive been busy i might not get around to it until september. i think ill have a roach problem so i need to at least plug up some holes and sprinkle up some dust

THIS is why I don't want to go to school in New York City. I'll do Upstate, but nothing around the city. Disgusting.

Yeah, I was so pissed when it dropped to $250 or whatever right after I bought my Wii. I would have saved me money in the long run because of all the Wii Rock Band/Guitar Hero compatibility issues, but I bought it from a friend, so there was basically a no return policy.
 
haha! when i lived in nyc, we had pretty new buildings so i didn't have a problem (it also came with almost a $1300/month price tag) but yea. i live in the cheapest part of philly behind penn. we also have mice problems in philly (very very very old city)
