Question for ksmi or another LA person:

Where is University of Louisiana Monroe? It was just mentioned on Sunday night football. Specifically, the player said THE University of Louisiana; I had to look up what school he was from to figure out what he was talking about. Is it often referred to like that? Is it in the same system as LSU, or are there a few different public university systems in LA?

Haha, it's in Monroe of course (north Louisiana). 😛 Idk about THE University of Louisiana though... I always thought that ULL (University of Louisiana Lafayette) claimed that title. It is a different system from LSU. We have the UL system, the Southern system, the Louisiana Community and Technical College System and the LSU system, says the Louisiana Public Colleges website. 🙂
 
Arg, I hate this Spanish online homework. Every night, and even before tests. It also just marked 3 correct answers wrong for no reason and I even checked the conjugation in the book. 😡

Take the midterms on a different day. Most profs understand.
Unless they're former gunners that didn't get into med school and their only dream is to now kill the hopes of current pre-meds (ksmi you know which professor I'm talking about).

Screw this thesis thing. Part of me just wants to give it up. I have not the slightest clue what I'm supposed to do. I can't create mathematics out of thin air. I just don't have the basis in math that I need to be able to do this. And my thesis advisor keeps acting like I'm lazy and don't care. I'm just so discouraged by this. He gets even more annoyed because I know he really wants to see the results of this, but I'm going too slow, and he knows that he could do it faster. I'm sorry I haven't been doing this kind of math for 15+ years. 🙁
 
So, this presentation isn't working out tonight. I'll just do a last-minute thing tomorrow.

I just have no concentration for school so far this semester. These interviews are really all that's in my mind. And to think, it could be even worse after Oct 15th. :xf:

yeah definitely, oh well- it seems like a lot of the schools im interviewing at are different than most of the posters in this group, you've really piled up some interviews so far
