so i just filled out a survey for duke interview exp

and at the end it asks you whats the most important. it shows the overall results so far.

18% of kids said financial aid was not important at all (11% said it was the most important). 15% said reputation of the school was most important, 11% said reputation was the least important (and i think i counted for 1-2% of that).
 
please dont watch pi unless u wanna fall asleep

i say watch the 25th hour or boiler room

district 9 isnt out on dvd yet but that movie is great

i think the actual interview kinda makes a big impression on us. if we find that we had a good interview with a cool person, i think we are going to like that school much more. and ksmi cant not like james b atkinson. that guy was cool
 
i say go with boiler room classy.

notorious, i liked, but it was pretty bad from what most unbiased ppl say

Dude I just watched the trailer. I didn't know if it was serious or not lol. It seemed like an SNL sketch or something.

Hahahaha how can you tell. You dont know me. You know about 200 posts on a med school forum thread of me. Sounded pretty interesting though. I'll throw notorious at the bottom of the queue. I just clicked it bc i saw it on the home page
 
if you are feeling down, i say go with the pursuit of happyness. i might hit that up. im not feeling down at all but i need some inspiration to keep me pushing on the week of decisions

Moon is practically a one man show with this guy who works alone on a moon station as like a miner or something. It came out this summer and got rave reviews (I saw it at my local indie theatre). It was cool.

requiem was a good danny boyle movie

if you haven't seen the classics, hit it up

scarface (i love that movie)
american history x
godfather 1-2 (and u will see the third one because you will want to before realizing that you didnt want to)


men in black 1 - 2 are always great

Yeah, I need to hit up the Godfather. Haven't seen it yet.
 
i know its tough to go back to watch a movie, but i think u have to keep in mind that the movie was made in the early 80s. it really affected some of the stuff u see in movies now.
 
Oh and go out and see Inglourious Basterds. I enjoyed that one very much.

I'll stop so i dont take up the whole page but pretty much any psychological drama is solid
