That really is not cool. Good luck fixing that.

So my professor for the midterm misinformed us that we only had 1 long essay question on the test. Got the test today, it said answer 2 of the following. Of course, I had only thought about 1. Guess who persuaded him to only let us answer 1 question? Yeah, that's right. Me. 😀

Dang, I'm sorry. That sucks!!! But just picture this application cycle without a CC. It's like reliving the hassle that's HU's secondary over and over and over again :/ Money Orders and Cashier's Checks...I'll pass.

so i'm home from work now... was too sick to be productive. considering just staying home tomorrow so i can go to the doctor.

between the flu and all these interviews, i'm gonna start needing to take unpaid days off of work. blech.

Anybody else keeping tabs on the baseball playoffs whilst waiting to hear from schools? Rockies are busy trying to even the series with the Phils...

id keep tabs on baseball but, its hard watching the most boring sport ever created........😴😴:meanie:

I've developed a grudging respect for the Rox this season after watching the Giants cough up the wild card to them... I hope they go far. Just not as much as I hope the Dodgers choke/fail/lose.

As for the AL... I've always been a Yankee fan, too. Still feel a little sorry for the Twins, since nobody's giving them any chance in this one. And I'm rooting for some sort of natural disaster to strike the other ALDS- hate Boston and Anaheim with equal passion.

I don't understand when people say this. Why do you find baseball boring? I would rather watch baseball than any other sport. The levels of complexity and strategy are unmatched.

It's not flashy, though. You've got to sit there for a long time to see, maybe, 10 really interesting plays or moments.

Furthermore, I don't find the AL interesting at all; having a crutch like a DH just takes a lot of the interesting choices out of the game, IMO.

I still find the playoffs interesting, and I'll watch when my Stros are doing well, but it's not up there with, say, basketball for me.

What I love about baseball is all of the strategy that goes into every single pitch, and the fact that any play can change the game.

Yes, in the NL lineup strategy is more important. In the AL the pitchers have to pitch to everybody.

I can understand that. It's definitely not as fast-paced as, say football. For me, though, that's a good thing. It lets me look at each plate appearance, every matchup, every play and be able to analyze it and understand it. That and you can anticipate the way things unfold and see how the players and managers handle them.

See, like right now, Rockies have the bases loaded against JA Happ with no outs. How the heck does he get out of this? That's drama right there, folks.
