Dude, absloutely beautiful. Interview day experience is the best I've been to so far. The students were so friendly, they treated us like celebrities. They go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and special, because there were so few of us interviewees. And the hospital, now I know why it's ranked top 20 in the country. It's sweet they gave us a tour of the hospital, the emergency room as well. Other schools only give tours of the medical school buildings.

Pure Pass/Fail is totally sweet. Did you get an invite here, man?

as if i wasn't so excited already! glad you had such a great time there.

a couple of doctors i see regularly are on faculty at mt. sinai and they have nothing negative to say about the school. also, every student i've met from there is incredibly kind, smart, and thoughtful (granted i only know like 5 people, but still). 😍 sinai and glad i rescheduled for a time when i won't be too sick to enjoy the visit!

I've heard the tour that U2 is on right now is awesome. They came here to play a little while ago, and I had to miss it. I heard it was an epic concert though.

All this Sinai talk is making me wish I had an invite.

My brother went to the concert at Giants Stadium. Said it was hands down the best concert he's ever been to.

In other news, this Introduction to Health Care Systems class I'm taking is killing me. While relevant and useful, it's just wayyyy too much work. I should be watching football right now [even though we have a bye week] instead of working on this monstrous study guide. 🙁

I think i'm getting the H1N1 vaccine this week or next. Our entire rescue squad got the regular flu vaccine on Thurs.

theres no real difference between an orange chicken and general tsos

i like gen tsos tofu and scallion pancakes but thai food (pad thai and noodle mao) >>>

This happens all the time at my new apartment. They don't really know why either... Doesn't make me feel very safe, but oh well! I feel like I'm living in the dorms again where drunk freshman thought it would be funny to set the fire alarm off at 3 am.

I'm here now!! Had a busy day with my mom coming into town. Now trying to study, but unsuccessfully. Watching Men in Black on TNT instead.

I guess they'll be in a good mood when I interview there next week...

yea. UC Denver gave me a MSTP invite but I didn't pay their app fee. I thought I could get away with it but those dudes caught on pretty fast. whoops
