i agree, i looked thru my schools on last years thread and very few actually gave out oct 15th notices

I'm finally at the studying point where I'm feeling more confident for no reason at all. Now I can post, listen to music, etc while studying and still concentrate.

I've also decided not to study for my first test tomorrow. I'm sure it'll be fine.

i have been such a waste of space in anticipation of what the end of this week brings. at least you are studying...i am seriously USELESS

yeah i should be getting a package/letter any day now...ive been rebuilding for years and to think this could finally be the moment is exciting and nerve racking, especially since im normally a really chill person

I thought that I would be, too.

But getting sick and realizing you have no f***ing clue what's going on in an important class makes you turn around really quick. And by really quick, I mean studying 1 day before the test. :laugh:

yea i havent been anxious like this ever... not even when like my brother was born (kidding)
 
Random question for you chemistry people - what on earth do you need lots of cyanide for? apparently there was a spill in the science bldg at school today and the whole bldg was evacuated and tons of police/firemen were there. it took them hours to clean it up so it must have been a significant amount...😕

tell me about it. the anxiousness gets worse at each step. waiting for mcat score was bad, amcas bad, secondaries bad, interviews bad, and now decisions are torture.

heres to hoping for some good news. i bought a bottle of champagne for the moment...and the decision will dictate how much of that bottle i take down (in addition to any other bottles)

urm... i remember you can use it in orgo to add carbons. was it on the chem floor? i think you can use it to make a lot of other compounds, but i'm not sure what their uses might be.

yup, using the nitrogen attached to the carbon. then you can get rid of the nitrogen probably

URGh. What's with all of this damn mailing? I thought we were in the age of technology!

I really, really, really, really, really, hate the USPS. It's one of the reasons for my disliking of the government.

If I can't trust them with my f***ing letters, how am I supposed to trust them with my money, freedoms, and various other things?

I wonder where some of the people that were here around the beginning of this thread went.

Shouldn't they want to be here when everything comes to fruition? After all, they helped start it and get it going. Unless they're ashamed of what it's become.
