yes, i think a post-interview rejeciton would make me feel like they really didn't like me as a person during my interview. whereas a pre-interview rejection is easier to take because i just think everyone must look almost the same to them on paper and i can't take it too personal that they didn't have an interview spot for me.
Yup. Especially if you've already fallen in love with the school.
Plus you could always blame pre-interview rejection on numbers. I would just say "Oh, well I guess my MCAT was too low - whatever."
