All south american countries in 25 seconds! College football helmets in I forgot how long, but it was really fast!

This is so addicting, I hate whoever posted this...

I haven't read through the thread but I am assuming you are talking about Sporcle?

My friend showed it to me this summer... I love that site.

Wake interview done! They've changed up their strategy. Instead of having someone drill you on tough questions, they now have a guy asking tough, tough questions in a small room that's REALLY friggin hot. Looks like they're really into checking your ability to handle stress.

Downstate tomorrow! Some of you give me some ideas on what to do in NYC after I finish the interview, I'm staying there an extra day or so. Thanks 😀

You know, my Wake interview was stress free, but afterwards, others in my group were bitchin' about the tough interview...maybe I am obtuse.

Chinatown for dim sum - try the Golden Unicorn on E Broadway (google it)...or go to Korea Town on 32nd between 5th and 6th Aves...great exhibit at the Met with a rare Vermeer on loan from abroad...

Wow, looks like the SEC agrees that there was some funny business going on with the refs in the FL-AK game: that ref crew is suspended. Apparently, it's the same crew that gave Florida some preferential treatment at the end of its game against Georgia as well earlier this month. Hmmm...

Also, Sam Bradford is done 🙁 Hate the Sooners, but you never want to see a player get hurt like that. Undoubtedly, it'll be a while before we see a clear first round pick stay behind an extra year for a shot at a national title again.

unbelievable. everyone knows the best celebrity blog is www.wwtdd.com/

I disagree....he just seems bitter and unfunny

I really like dlisted.com
hilarious.

but its all gossip sites....we're doing much more important things like studying for Pchem and learning about medical conditions we saw while shadowing...right!

2:22 for the 50 states but I was dumbfounded for about 12 seconds at the end.... because I forgot Hawaii and Alaska lol

2:18

Could not for the life of me figure out Minnesota.

2:20...lots of typos and backspacing going on...

1:4🙂

i can still only get 44/47 european countries though grr!!

I tied you on my retake, does that count lol?

Maybe like the adcom we can avg my two scores... pssshhh

Does it count if it's on our second try? I think I would've beaten it if I could remember how to spell.

I don't think so. I assume we're all smart here and have at least somewhat of a photographic memory. I know I would beast it on a second try, so I assume everyone would too.

Did you try the periodic table one? I gave up after 5 minutes but got a meager 43 of them in that time. 😳

I got the 9 planets in 0:13. Beat that! Ha!

Edit: Yes, I know that Pluto is no longer a planet. But, the quiz didn't know that.

First try? I got like 7 minutes...

EDIT: Maybe it has something to do with the fact that I can drive 8 hours in any direction and still be in the same state.

No excuse. I grew up in San Antonio, and we could drive at least that far in any direction (and longer in some) and still be in the same state.

Also, I'm pretty sure you can't drive 8 hours east without hitting Nevada, or west without hitting the ocean.

lol skimming might be more likely...its no wonder the buildings looked so new...:meanie:

isnt someone from WI here? mary or ciello? I forget...im getting really excited about UW but dont know much about the area.

not from there, but a few hours away. i made a friend in college who was from madison and he had several friends at UW. so i visited there with him a decent number of times. once on halloween . . . one NYE . . . various other times for concerts and stuff. once i even went ice skating there. and i have been shopping and drinking in their little downtown area.

its small and not for everyone. but for what its worth, i think its a great area. and cheap. and people are nice. and i also think wisconsin is pretty, at least compared to IL. and isnt there a big lake in madison too?

anyway . . . yeah i like it there. i am glad you're excited. and i am jealous! i want a UW interview!

Did you see the ridiculous one for listing the digits for pi? I heard of this guy that recited the digits of pi to the 83,000th place. Crazy!

West, yeah. Directly east would be about a 7 hour drive to Nevada. I could get to Reno in like 4 though, you're right.

damn, peace out to sam bradford. made a career ending mistake. hope it works out in the end for him
