I know. I read the excited post but saw "Yay anal!", went like 😕, then I saw "Wright State!!!" and thought, maybe Wright's into that kind of thing 🙄

That's because I have no clue about basketball, but live in Boston so I root for the Celtics by default.. Though apparently Bill Walker is out for 6-8 weeks so I need to figure out how to drop him and add someone else.

I am in the same boat.
And a bunch of Emory SDNers totally gave me lip for mentioning the explanation that Emory doctors who are faculty members told me about how Emory proceeds with their undergraduates.
Totally not helping.

i mean, i'm totally being sarcastic. my alma mater just happens to have one of the most competitive med schools in the country, so i won't actually be too broken up if i don't hear from them at all.

Most schools rank their applicants from the get go, and if they like you, you'll hear from them quickly whether you sent in your secondaries in early July or late August. September is a transition month, early Sept is still fine, but late Sept is starting to hurt.

Basically, you're(and by that, I mean we are) getting no interviews right now because the schools that like you have already invited you, and the schools who don't will wait until they finish with their higher priority candidates to re-evaluate you.

In other words, if a school has invited a bunch of people completed after you, then you're low on their priority list and will be jumped by people who applied later and are of higher priority, as you already have.

and 1 more basketball question-what day exactly do we start? and when do our rosters have to be in to be set for a day? ok that was 2 questions, oh well. i figured out how to change my lineups and figure out when my players play-yay!!🙂

edit: re-read your post spurs, i see we start on sunday. so now i just need to know when our rosters need to be set by

Nolitis affects your heart before you even realize it, I'd recommend trying very hard to get into another school. Only time and distance away from that steaming pile of crap known as Tallahassee can cure nolitis. I'm praying for you to get better Sammich!

I'm not a huge college football fan so I think it will be fine.

I did love FSU though... Maybe nolitis has infected my brain!
 
Finally relaxing with food in my Stony Brook hotel (way nicer than I thought it would be).

God the LIRR was horrendous today.

oh yea, it affects you in ways you can't even begin to fathom. in fact, i wouldn't be surprised if in 5 years, instead of practicing medicine, you start doing flying trapeze with a traveling gypsy circus. FSU does have a circus school, you know. 😉
 
OSU interview coming up very soon, sick of airplane flights.

Congrats! I really liked Wright State, its probably where I'll end up next year. Don't be nervous at all about the interview, its very relaxed.
