Anyone have an old phone they want to sell me (that works) until I can re-upgrade to my iPhone again next December?

Man. I remember when the Razors were the shiz. I'm totally out of touch with what is a "good" phone. The iPhone was the first upgrade phone I ever got this last August; before that I couldn't even take pictures. So to me, Razor still sounds pretty good, but I guess I'm stuck in the world of 5 years ago.

On the plus side, drunk texts are more amusing without autocorrect.
 
i can't imagine trying to text on a phone without a keyboard anymore. i don't know how i had the patience.

Just to give you an idea, amidst all the expensive cell phones, my type of razor is currently going for $11 on ebay.

My iPod died a long time ago. Right before it died though, if I worked out while listening to it, my ears would get shocked, a very unpleasant feeling.

did you try explaining to an ATT store what happened? my dad somehow got them to give him the iphone earlier than his contract allowed (granted, by like a month) but for the lower price.

also, i dont understand why phone stores make you wait to get a new phone...

It's water damage, and from what I've heard from everyone, they don't care at all when it comes to water damage.
 
then why not walk in and pretend to negotiate for an upgrade to the 3GS just cuz its awesome (forgetting to mention your old phone fell into a toilet)? i don't see how it could hurt to ask.

because I have a 3gs. lol. Can't really upgrade. I read through the policy and they're pretty strict on water, so I tried to open it up and dry it out which also invalidates any warranty too.

turns out a friend of mine has an old 3G that just has a crack on the screen that he'll sell me for $30. Woooo!
 
So, apparently all on-campus interviews are gone at Duke (according to the Duke thread)... I applied here as a reach and have not heard anything from them, so I guess that means there's no hope now. This stinks.

saw that -- I call bs. The secondary was due yesterday at midnight. How can they be full up before the due date? What are they, USUHS?

I bet they open dates up in a few weeks.

I had one for a few months when I was in a situation similar to yours... being a guy, it was a good conversation starter lol
 
So, should I get an iPhone? I was planning getting a PDA/smart phone/ I've been leaning towards the iPhone but I'm not sure if now is the best time to buy one considering they are soon ending their contract with AT&T. ...that and the fact that the droid is coming out.. (or has it been released already?). .... then again, I'm already on AT&T...

No thanks. This is day 4 without my iPhone and I'm seriously in withdrawal. My friend's phone has a cracked screen, but I can just swap it out with the screen from my now-brick-3GS and voila - Sam will have a cell phone again!

The droid looks awesome. It is out. I don't trust the first generation of anything though.

I phrased that wrong. What I meant to say is that the contract between AT&T and Apple is ending soon.... they could renew it but it doesn't seem like a good move for Apple.

True. You could always buy a jailbroken one, but they're pretty expensive.

You do end up saving a TON of money if you upgrade to an iPhone rather than buy it on its own.

This other iphone is currently restoring my settings... I can't wait...

I heard they were talking with Sprint. But I don't really know.
 
guys, i am desperate for a way to unclog my nose. any suggestions? i took sudafed (the original kind) and if anything my nose feels more plugged up than it did before! i've exhausted my 3 days of afrin usage...taking hot showers gives relief as long as i'm in the shower, but not for long after i get out.

I'd say go to UHS, but they'll quarantine you with the H1N1 kids in DW. Doesn't Tylenol have a daytime option as well? Or maybe Dayquill?
