At least you didnt get to the test center only to find out that your license had expired 1 week before the test and because of that they wouldnt let you take the test because you had no valid id, and have to waste another 260 dollars and 2 more months of my life studying. Thought Id throw my story in too😛

Wow! I'm not that ready, but I am excited to get this started. I haven't written my Work/Activities descriptions, I need to finish my PS, and I still need to write up a description of my Institutional Action. 🙁 So basically, all the writing is still left... :laugh: Imma do it after finals are over.

No really, I should start that. Right after these 14 lab reports.

I do have a first name. It starts with a K and ends with an "athy" but I answer to "ksmi" as well.

And it wasn't my driving skills. I drove fine, but the fact that I didn't want to drive the wrong way on a busy road plus massive traffic because of lane closures led to my long trip. *hpmh*

Yeah, I'm not sure what it is about MCAT testing sites, but it seems like there's some sort of rule that it has to be in some obscure, extremely hard to find location.

The road is was on had a median, and the intersection it was at had major construction going on. It took me like 15 minutes of driving around this one intersection and making U-turns to finally get into the right parking lot, and then another 5 to realize that it was hidden in the back.

I think I know what you're talking about - Sherwood and Coursey? I hate that intersection because of the stupid construction on both sides! I can't even go to the Applebee's there anymore. 😡

Yes!!! Please vouche for me and the fact that my driving is not the reason it took me so long to find the testing center. The construction is done now. Yay!! I love that Applebee's, it was my favorite restaurant as a child. I love the Oreo cookie shake. 😀

I took it 1/31, darn 8ams. I had ~9 hours of sleep and two scotches to help me slumber, so I was out like a baby.

When I got my score back, I had pulled an allnighter for a P.Chem/I.Chem/Biochem2 trio of midterms and I was literally falling asleep while pressing refresh. My roommate woke me up at about 4pm and I hit refresh instantly and started making some manly grunting and breaking out every football pump-up I remember. Good times, good times.

I would recommend against wearing the earphones if you're not used to them. The ones at my first test center were actually painful. It... wasn't pretty.

Yeah, they were pretty sketch. But I used them anyway. They were orange and very big, and I could still hear typing during VR... bleh. It was a strange feeling taking them off though.

If you don't want to use those, you can bring ear plugs. But they have to be in their original packaging. Who knows? You have have stuck a mini radio up in them... :laugh:
 
Never used the earphones. Fortunately, I can focus pretty well when I want to.

The day I took my test there were like 10 other guys in the room of which I dont think any of them were taking the mcat. They were all old for one, and second they were typing literally non-stop the whole time I was taking the mcat. So annoying and the headphones they gave me were kind of gross and greasy like someone just got done using them.....I was too scared to wear them :scared:
