One of my papers is almost done, and my research project got strongly significant results! BoooYaaaaa! P<.0001 Gotta love when things work out. 😉


Now I've just got to finish so I can start focusing on the MCAT... :beat:

That's why I clarified. I'm beating that dirty fly-ridden jackass! Not a horse. That could imply the MCAT is a stallion, to which it is most definitely not (wow! Just had crazy dream deja vu from a dream I had about a year or two ago...)

I think my last cat was the 1 in 5... Kittens are great, but then they grow up... They need to genetically engineer permanent kittens and puppies (but the puppies need to learn how to become potty trained).

Oddly enough... Yes. I have some pretty whacked out dreams. It was a lot more complex than that, but the analogy did come up.

I guess that seems to happen to people every once in a while on here. I hit submit and it didn't work. Then I came back and tried again. Didn't work again. I realized what was going on after like 3-4 times.

Just to join in on the:beat: (different horse), who's ready for Tuesday! And how weird is it that AMCAS says "on or about May 5, 2009." You would think they just flip a switch on the day they feel like opening it.

I've decided that during my study breaks I'm gonna enter in all the easy stuff. But all the writing, I'm saving for after finals are done. I wonder if I'll submit on the 1st... hmm... Guess we will see how fast I can get it all done.

Bah!!! Friday is like my Thursday... On a bright note I just finished processing some brain data and see some very significant cortical differences! BoooYaaa! (different than the above mentioned project).

5 months of data collection: $150,000
4 months of data processing: $120,000
2 months of figuring out how to graphically represent the data: $60,000
Seeing the beautiful glow of cortical activation where you thought it would be: Priceless

I'm jealous. I wish I could submit on the first... I was even contemplating pushing my exam back to July 17th if I'm not scoring in the 35-38 range by two weeks before exam day.

You could still submit and get it all verified, then just wait for the test scores... Just like pick a school you know you'll apply to no matter what, and just pick that one. Then add others later. I think it'd be worth it to get it verified early.

That kind of stuff irks me. I think it devalues the bonds you had with your original pup. Why not remember your pup for what he/she was, a great friend. That's like saying if my baby died (don't have one, but if I did and it did) then I could just grow another one. I think it demonstrates psychological instability in the person purchasing the project and an inability to overcome loss. This would perpetuate the sadness and further instigate the emotional instability from the first loss. Needless to say, I'm not a fan.

The execs at that company know this too. You can tell from the website that they're marketing directly to people who can't get over their lost dog.

I totally agree, I would never clone my dog eve if I thought he/she was the best dog in the world. There's too many homeless dogs sitting at the pound waiting in the euthanasia line.

Yeah, I'm definitely going to verify early. I am going to wait to submit until I get closer to my exam date. Most likely the day after I take my exam. That way my AMCAS will be verified before I get my score back. I'm going to do everything in my power to take the exam in June, but I'm worried a month might not be enough time... (granted I've somewhat started studying just put it on hold for the last month to finish out projects, etc.).

So my teacher at the end of class was like, "What's happening on Cicno de Mayo at 12:30 in this room?" and everyone kinda grumbled... then I realized that the 5th is Tuesday and that I thought the test was on Wednesday so I scheduled my research presentation for then... so I'm walking to the dining hall freaking out about having two finals at once. I get here, check the schedule, and the test is def. on the 6th. I hope the teacher realizes that... and that all the students do as well. I mean on Wednesday, he did say it was a week from that day, so I think he knows it's on Wed. Maybe I'll email him to "clarify my confusion."

I pretty much just thought that picture made me look like a cocky *******, but if it creeps people out, then I can change it. My gf doesn't like that pic either, so maybe I'll start taking the hint that it is actually a bad picture to use.

Edit Edit: crap, it edits out $$ when used for the s's in ash hole?
