Well, I think it's official... Tonight's plan failed... 🙁

Ha ha. I have commitment issues, or so I've been told.

You dont have commitment issues, you have something far better! Youre smart enough to not ruin your life!!!. Seriously though I thought you were like 21😕. Guess its better i know now then if i see you at an interview then freak out! lol

Don't sound so disappointed...

Ha ha. Yeah, good point. Plus, I look like I'm 39... It's rough... I scare people often.

I want girls.

Dude, I have half a mind to put that in my signature...

Can't fault a guy for wanting to have fun. Just have to control how much fun you have, or you'll end up letting your med student friends practice checking you for std's.

No glove, no love. Rules to live by. 😉

One reason I quit the Navy:

I was trying to get a routine check for STD's at our medical department (in the Nav, you have no insurance, all medical care is performed on the ship or station), and they said, in the middle of a waiting room "are you symptomatic of any STD's?" When I said no, they said it was probably okay and that the tests were too expensive to run needlessly...

Ha ha. That's a great way to keep the immediate costs down, but they are going to pay in the long run if people are too embarrassed to get treated for their STD's.

Haha, I'm pretty sure they had their hands full (terrible pun?) after the crew came back from liberty ports. How any grown man would think a visit to a foreign brothel was worth it is beyond me.

Nice. I don't think I will have all 15. What are your categories?

Ok, let's see if I remember them all...

teaching preschool, lsu colorguard, residence hall association, scholarships/awards, honor societies (and leadership positions in them), hospital volunteering, shadowing, hurricane gustav volunteering, alternative service break, various other service projects, research, poster, math club, honors college advocates, and another that i'm forgetting...

 I bet, man. It's amazing to me that anyone anywhere would pay for it, but in a foreign country? Baffles the mind...

Don't forget your "other" campus job 😉

What is that?

Is the Poster your Math presentation?

Looks like a solid list. You're putting 3 more?

Oh yeah... that's the other one. I'm a *****.

I'm not going to lie, I actually laughed out loud when I read this one.

Are you feeling out manned tonight Ksmi? Now I'm starting to feel bad... I just accelerate very slowly so the starting takes quite a while.

What is that?

we plan service trips during school breaks. I've been on 3 of them, and they are awesome. And I'm on the EBoard of it.

Yes

I still have to write the descriptions for my research, the hurricane stuff, and RHA. Everything about RHA is not going to fit in 1325 characters. I've had 3 different leadership positions, including being the VP of the whole thing (we have like 5000 members). So yeah, I'm saving that one for last so I can think about what it the most important to say. I could easily fill up the space with just my freshman year, but alas, I did not want to use up 3 spaces on it.

Aww, now I feel bad 🙁 I wasn't going to let them in on that inside joke...

DAMMIT!!!! I totally forgot about getting 7000!!! I got 4000, 5000, and 6000. And Spurs got 7000 with this useless post.

Oh well, TOP!

 It's something to do with Unix. It was the first thing that came up when I googled "top"

Nice! I'm thinking with the RHA, you might want to put some of your leadership positions under a leadership heading that lumps all your leadership into an easy to read list, with quick descriptions. Then you can briefly cover RHA in the space allotted. You will have a little bit of overlap, but with that much leadership it should have it's own section.

Ha ha. who on earth wouldn't get that, even if was an inside joke? You should feel aweful! :meanie:

Officially the lamest top post to date... 👎

But the problem with RHA is that active members of the organization all have leadership positions. Technically, the average RHA member doesn't do anything at all, beside go to our programs and eat our free food. So everything that's relevant with RHA for me is related to my leadership positions so I wouldn't have much to say outside of that.
