lol 🙁🙁 sorry. This **** about money is depressing! One of my friends parents is making him apply to over 50 schools lol. His dad his filthy rich though and is paying so it doesnt matter but man it must suck. He basically is going to apply wherever his dad wants and matriculate where he wants since he supports him 100% financially. almost makes me ahppy im poor 😉

dude did you go back and read that thread. He has like a 3.9 and 37 mcat or something wth. Unless he has like 4 DUIs i dont know waht hes doing. 60 schools would what...run near 7k or so?

After the 8,932 reading of my PS...it's all done!!! I thought about submitting tomorrow and I wondered who would be the very first person to get through...or if you could even tell.
 
hey kids. class of 2013er here. I usually get up early mornings (5 AM EST) to go to work everyday. I understand you would be sleeping. Sleeping is for l:yawn:sers. If you want to win, you have to submit early. Bottomline. West coast people, listen up!

If you give me your AAMC login and pass, I will submit for you! Of course, I will need your CC info to pay for that one medical school, duh. No Charge! (please make sure your primary is complete - ie finished essay, SSN#s, dead african babies)

This is why we submit early. AMCAS never told me until after I submitted that they "haven't received" my transcript from my grad school. Well, my grad and undergrad are the same, and my grades from both are on one transcript. I guess it's time for an email battle with AMCAS at one of their busiest times...
 
I can't submit my application yet. 🙁

everything is ready to go but i have to wait for the status of my FAP.

where is Elijah? He would know more about this.

Now I have to go race to my pre-med advisor and get her a copy so she can start writing that committee letter. Gotta be first though because she does them in the order she receives them.....

how long do you have to wait before you received a response about your FAP status? I submitted my app a few months ago and didn't realize that we need to submit documents until last week. so I rushed to send everything in last wednesday. How long do they process? I have to actually wait for a response before I can submit huh?

My total cost for AMCAS is $470 and this does not include TMDSAS or secondaries yet. GW and Georgetown U secondaries cost a lot! So my point is...should i wait to get as much savings as i can before submission?

Submitted, What a relief. Now its time to stress over secondaries.

For the FAP, I had to wait about 2 weeks from them having everything, but this was back in March.
