Class of 2014!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
👍 Smithwicks is good stuff. I'm a fan of most dark beers (porters, stouts). Some of my favorite beers are Dogfishhead Indian Brown Ale and Double Deadguy Ale.

Also, anyone else not done with their AMCAS 😎

I've had dead guy; it's OK. Personally I like more hops. Most of my favorites have IBUs of above 80; closer to 100 is better.

haha...i know i should have just used the counter....i just for some reason thought a fork was a good idea. I guess now i know better 😛. Its moments like this where i wonder if i should really be going to med school:laugh:

It's moments like that that make me wonder if you should be as well... :meanie:

I haven't tried those, but I'll have to give them a shot. I think I'm going to have to keep a beer journal by my pc, because I know I'll forget by tomorrow or will have thrown away the piece of paper I write it on (more likely I'll stash it with other papers where it will sit until I move, then I'll throw it away...)

I'm not done yet either, but I'm not taking my MCAT until July 17th... So, that gives me a little time. I think I might try to submit by the end of June though.

Had my transcripts sent in today! 😀

The hoppy beers have a weird metallic taste that I'm not so fond of.

Maybe watch movies, that's what I usually do once I get bored with the interweb.

Any good ones? I watched special last night. It was mildly amusing. The trailer is below.

I can never do that. I need to sleep.

I've been pulling lots of all nighter lately. There were a few weeks where I was sleeping every other day.

I had a professor that does that. My problem is I stay up until about 4, then sleep until 7. I'm tired all day, but yet the process repeats itself...

Not sure, I'll probably just rewatch something I own. Unless something good is on TV.

The 5th Element is always a good late night I'm tired, but not tired enough for bed movie.

haha, I just don't sleep much.

Sometimes I do work, other times I just kinda of sit around and occupy myself until 5. which is when I go running.

To me, there is nothing worse than the feeling you get when the sun starts to come up and you still haven't been to sleep yet... Well, until you turn to your right and see the girl you just spent a dark night with...

I should play my videogames.

I was just thinking the other day how I haven't touched my gamecube and PS2 in like a year.

Ok, first things first, upgrade your game system!!! Get something with online access that people still play. I would recommend the Xbox 360.

I wonder if I can put that on my AMCAS... Was in top ten in the world in Call of Duty... ha ha. That would be hilarious, especially if I had played with some of them.

I probably wouldn't use it enought to justify the price tag.

Sigh... Only trying to help. What I do is stare at my screen hitting refresh until someone posts... ha ha. Ok, that's a stretch, but I have been known to do it.😳

Wait... Rogue has a double dead guy ale? sounds interesting
I just went to the Bulldog tonight... amazing. God, I love that place. Had some Spaten Oktoberfest and various other stuff.

So for all of you Tulane applyers (except ksmi, she can attest to this) - it was about 95ish in BR and NOLA today.
Without the humidity factor.
I left my house at 9:30:00 this morning and was sweating as I opened my car door at 9:30:05.
Just warning you people - it sucks, this is why I would like to move a bit north. And it's not even end of July/early August yet. That's when it really starts to kick. We had a heat wave 2 years ago where it was consistently 120 (that's heat index) for 2 weeks.

i have 7 LORs to give myself choice..i think i may send different ones based on different schools...and i asked a lot of people just incase someone was unresponsive..and dont worry i dont intend to send all seven out!! =)

i just started back at my old job yesterday..its kind of strange starting again because you know everyone but its kind of like ur psuedo new..but im only working three days a week so I can work on secondaries..i have done rough drafts for like 8 of them..hope to do like 3 more by the end of this week..

im annoyed that my amcas still isnt verified..i submitted June 10th grr..

Yeah, I'll never forget getting off the plane in NO after my first semester in NY...

The humidity was so overwhelming I could hardly breathe for the first 30 min...and that was in the winter!

I miss all the good stuff.

don't worry, it won't actually get good until kissme kicks Spurs' a ss.

wow, i've had a lot of inadvertent tops lately!

i'm craving something from the TOP of the outdated food pyramid

Dude, yesterday afternoon my computer said it was 102 and online temps are usually without humidity factor too. This is why I stay inside most of the day.

It'll happen, don't you worry. Either that, or I'll get Caesar to fight my battles for me.

eeeexcellent :meanie:

This latter part is likely. The cable guy is about to feel my wrath. Waking me up at 7 to tell me he'd b here at 8... it's 9 now, no cable guy and I am due in the lab at 9. He's screwing up my extraction plan, I ought to take HIS RNA instead... too bad he won't fit in the tube.

That's a movie.

indeed it is. but i'm not surprised that Lukkie was unaware 😛

FWIW, their accents in that movie were TERRIBLE! i'm sure ksmi can back me up-- they did not sound like authentic southerners at all.

oh, and... 900! i hope i don't get in trouble for this pic:
