maybe you can help me solve a problem. there is a garter snake living in my front yard. my dog is obsessed with it and i think she wants to eat it. i think she's too much of a ***** to attack it, though, so she's just annoying it a lot by poking it with her face. will it eventually bite her if it gets mad enough? if she does manage to kill it can i make tasty snake kabobs? (just kidding.)

Garter snakes smell bad, and they will bite but it'll tell your dog to stop poking around.

I think this is the year that USC does not win the Pac-Lame. I go with either Cal or Oregon. USC can't beat anybody but horrible Pac-10 teams and overrated Little-11 teams.

So some of my fellow employees came to work at 8am this morning when they were off to see Transformers and we didn't even have the movie yet!
:laugh: Losers, waking up at like 7:30am for nothing! I will probably see it on Thursday.
Tomorrow is the day! AMCAS stuff and Transformers.
AMCAS means death via secondaries.
Transformers means death via work until ~Aug 14th ish.

I wrote mine yesterday, but it was only like 1600 characters and I just don't feel like I can add anything but word changes. Unless I wanted to say how much I love Baylor.
But I don't think I'll do that, even though Baylor is my top choice and I would go there over anywhere and I would love to live in Houston. They just wouldn't understand in writing.

im so excited. i really do want to meet all of you on the interview trail. and not just because that means i got an interview somewhere.
 
you may not appreciate me but believe me i have been personally touched by all of you in ways beyond your imagination. every time i read a post in this thread i am completely moved by the emotion and thought pouring through my computer screen. i pray to the lord i do not believe exists that we might touch hands in the midst of interviewing for the opportunity to partake in the career we are so passionate about.

when i sleep i dream about the application and interviews, and believe it or not i dream about some of you. i haven't seen any pictures of most of you (only kissme) so its interesting to see how my subconscious develops a potential image of people such as yourselves. its an exciting game and revelation when i truly meet you and can confirm or modify the image in my head.

I hope after I get into medical school this year I continue to maintain the relationships I developed with so many of you here in the 2014 thread. You have all had a significant impact on my life and I believe we will all make terrific physicians. The passion I see many of you exhibit in your activities and the way you post have truly inspired me to improve myself. We stand on the shoulders of giants, and we are on the way to setting a strong example for the class of 2015. And we can repeat our advice they will have next year ad naseum.

Ignoring the creepiness of this post, yeah, it's weird to conjure up people in your mind. I do know what most people here look like (yay facebook). But still, I'm sure my impressions of them are far from how they actually are.
