arg I just found out that I'm going to have to wait at least another week for my letter packet to be uploaded🙁 The lady that does it is apparantly out on medical leave until next monday.

Haha ya I know I'm just being neurotic and it really doesn't make much difference whether they're uploaded this week or next. I just want to be "complete" though!

I got one so far too. Guess it's still the holidays.
 
i haven't gotten any secondaries today 🙁

although i did get AECOM late enough on thursday that i didn't see it until this morning. so it feels like i got one 😛
 
i've gotten 7/26... if they keep comin in at 4 or so per week, i'd be happy

I've received 9 so far and submitted 7...not like it really matters yet though since I can't be complete until my letters get uploaded

Edit: I've actually received 10/25 I applied to but I decided not to send in the secondary to one so it's more like 9/24
 
I'm definitely not turning all my secondaries around. It was a mistake to choose so many schools in the AMCAS.

i feel like i got under-eager, haha. 18 is not so many schools... especially when a handful of them have basically no secondary. here's hoping i don't get rejected everywhere...

I just re-submitted to AMCAS and added another 7 or so schools (I had only done one). Do you think I'll get any secondaries before I get my mcat scores back?
 
Hrm, my application was verified 6/19 and I added 19 schools on 6/30, but I've only gotten 3 secondaries (Michigan, Pitt, and UVA). Granted, 8 of those 19 schools screen, but I was hoping to get the other 11 going as soon as possible.

Of course, my pre-professional office hasn't even started writing my letter of evaluation yet, so even though I've written most of my secondary essays, it doesn't matter one bit. Bah.

serious why did i think 45 was a good idea, whats wrong with me...im almost hoping i get screened out of some schools so i dont have to feel bad not doing them haha...i got one rejection at least so only 44 now!!! I only got 2 secondaries today though wtf...i better not get flooded next week when I have my finals-_-.

If you don't think it'll get any better, go for it. I'd personally wait a day or two.

So UVA is one of the ones I haven't finished the prompts for. Two essays to write. But I'm on vacation (kinda). They can wait until I get home.

a while ago to study for mcats last week (i bumped up my date, for better or worse)

i'll probably disappear again to draft some secondary essays. my productivity seems to jump 1000X when I'm off SDN :laugh:

haha, opposite for me. none of my friends or anyone is pre-med or remotely interested in the fact that i want to be a doctor. so if i'm not on SDN the rest of my life suddenly becomes much more interesting.
