Class of 2014!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

1) Its hard to say as i dont know how well you know them but, Id drop one of the profs or one of the PIs. What both PIs said id assume is somewhat similar since its both based on research. And most of your profs said shoudl already be in the committee letter id assume.

2. Thats a huge number of letters most schools require 1 committee letter thats all, i mean remember adcoms dont want to read 12312 lors, they dont care that much and often LORs are the same and dont add too much. At UCI one adcom told me he hates reading like 6+ Lors because they rarely add a ton to the application.

Probably true. I guess I just have a soft spot for the old guy. With Driver on the slope and Jennings on the rise, I'd say take the trade.

Ok first question, usually commitees send the letters as a packet and you can't take any out. If this is the case, just leave it be. Some schools will actually count a whole committee packet as just one letter. Others won't penalize you for that. If this is not the case,

1. The PI who you felt didn't write the best one??? Idk.

2. I would send them all.

Hi! So I see you have a bunch of neuroscience/neurology research under your belt... how far behind will I be if I want to do some neuro research in med school having done none in undergrad? I've done 2 summers of immunology, but I'm looking to branch out and do something different...

Congrats on your interviews, btw! Which date did you pick for Michigan?

Seems good, until 4 months from now ocho cinco is leading the league in TDs and yards haha 😛

on another note i got 4 2ndaries today....too much work...and theres still USC :scared:

i just got the tufts one unless u write the optional essay of do u have anything to add its going to take u <2 mins. its the same nice setup like gtown and creighton🙂

I don't think so. None of my letter writers know my AMCAS ID. AMCAS should stamp them when they send your app.
 
Did any of you forward your letters of Rec from Interfolio? I'm just wondering where I should input my AMCAS ID number and the file number from each letter when forwarding them.

u mean forwarding to amcas? I did that but there was a place for the amcas id and letter id already?

Oh, ok. Nice. I'm not sure... I am still sitting in front of my cpu in my boxers sipping on my coffee... Ha ha. I decided to take today off as a mental health day and haven't done anything yet... I figured I'll just check when I get on there, but if there was something strange in the way they needed to be submitted I could make note of it beforehand. 😉

ah ok. Anyways to asnwer you question you need to input both the letter IDs and the AMCAS ID, or amcas will reject your letters from interfolio🙂. And yay for mental health day...i want one soon:scared:. When madden comes out im taking a mental health month 😉

did anyone do albanys describe ureself essay yet?:scared: Even if you havnt when they say describe yourself, that is the same as tell us about yourself/say why you are unique right? Or is it more like write down some adjectives and tell us why X adjectives describe you. Like I am intelligent, curious, and passionate about blah blah...then give X reasons as to why u are those things?

I bet they fixed it. I haven't played Madden in about 3 years, so I'm excited for all the improvements.

Millions of people PAY to watch college football too. I mean can you really blame me? I grew up around LSU football and Saints football. Which would you pick?

lol i think its just a southern thing. Out there people seem to be crazy over college sports in general. Though with the saints........its understandable.

I like college football. But NFL is simply better. No question.
 
Here's a question. Do you guys think 2006 Texas Longhorns or SC Trojans could have beaten the 2008 Detroit Lions?

IMO, I think even the worst professional team could run all over the best college team ever assembled.
