I don't think SC got lucky, OSU's Offense just didn't show up...I'm gonna cry myself to sleep tonight :uhno:

Oh yeah, no question that it looks bad with all of the other games thrown in there; don't forget UT, twice, too. You'd think they'd come away from at least one of those games with a W, and that's gotta be frustrating. But at the same time, you look at these last three games they've lost (by 3 to No. 3 USC, by 3 to No. 3 Texas, and by 7 to No. 3 Penn St.), and you have to think that to some extent those games must have had a little luck involved; not to say that the other teams didn't deserve to win, but if things had swung just a LITTLE different in any one of those three games, we're not talking about this right now. To hang close with those elite teams and come up short at least shows that they're close to that elite level; it's not nearly as disheartening as, say, when they got thumped 35-3 by USC last year.

I could feel that coming the whole second half when OSU was dominating the game but only got 5 pts out of it. If it makes you feel any better MSU lost to CMU.

i think her reaction made me like her even more. she showed balls to go up against the line judge. i like that. i'll be rooting for her in the next major.

The Rockies finally lost, although we're pretty much out of it at this point.

That's not balls, that's being stupid. You gotta recognize how to not pick a fight with someone who has all the cards (like a ref).

so on my UCLA tour today, they had signs everywhere that they were the #3 hospital in the nation, so I went to go look at the list. Does anyone think hospital rankings should have any bearing on med school? or is that something to save for residency? or not matter at all? i didn't even know hospitals were ranked like that..

I had my EVMS and UVA interviews this week, and I had a pretty crazy week. Let's just say that less than 1h of sleep the night before an interview is not a good way to prepare (working EMS is too unpredictable). I ended up doing well at my sleep deprived interview (I think), but the drive there and back was torture.

Two this week too. Damn, I need to work more efficiently on my thesis, or I'm never going to get this thing done....

yea i know how you feel. the interviews are definitely taking a toll but i guess they are priority so

I was at a football game. 🙂 It'll be like this all semester. We have practice super early and then once the game is over, I don't want to do anything but sleep. But Sun-Fri, I'm all yours (yours as is, SDN's).

So I just had to send an email to the band director telling her the 6 days I'm gonna miss practice. There's no way for me to make that sound good. 🙁

What, everyone actually out enjoying their weekend and not on SDN? 🙄

Guess some of us have to put in the weekend work time so the boss-man don't hammer us come interview time during the week.

I do feel bad for all of you taking classes this semester though. I would go nuts. 🙂

Wow, so I have a powerpoint presentation due on Tuesday for a chapter of a book that I haven't even totally finished reading yet. FML.

But, the Saints won, so I that's good. And Blue - I dare you to say that Tom Brady can beat Brees' performance today - because he can't.

Yeah, so he dropped the class -but someone else volunteered to help me and move up their presenting date AND read a whole new chapter. I guess this was an extremely nice freshman who hasn't learned the ways of laziness and competition yet. :laugh:
Anyway, so I'm going to do half and he's going to do half. But that was really nice of him, though. Saves my ass.
