You have to find willing professors and express your interests. I know a ton of people that are non-science majors that are doing meaningful research in extremely science-oriented environments. We have an English major in my lab, and I know a ? major in a microbiology lab, also.
 
After continually adding more and more "dream" schools, I am finally done with effing secondaries.

I'm a fan (live close to Buffalo) and there always seems to be a looming disaster in the background when they play. Can't say I am surprised. Bills fans are used to this.

Sure, man. I did plenty of research in Psych utilizing my neuroscience background and that was when I was finishing my first degree in Psych (non-science).

Now if you're talking about a completely unrelated science field, say Business, then it is still possible, but you need to apply for positions that you would be qualified for. For instance, you wouldn't want to apply for bench work positions, but you could make a great clinical studies coordinator, or student research assistant that focuses on patients and diagnostic criterion. You have to sell what you have, so if that's a lot of people exp. then go with clinical (it's actually better for medicine, if you ask me, than bench work). Now if you have no people skills and no science background you're probably S.O.L. for any positions outside of your major. I would say the pre-med classes alone should qualify you for something though. Be sure to try to get to know your Bio/Ochem profs so that you can get a reference for some positions.

Saw this. Eh. Obviously you feel stupid when so many people are directing hate towards you. He was drunk when he did it so probably wasn't thinking correctly. He did this at the European VMAs to 'Justice' but they are good friends now and it was not highly publicized in America.

no really it's ok. I see how the way i worded it could be misinterpreted by all the people who post on this thread . . . i think the average # of interviews for people posting in here is like twelve 🙄

we got all year to get into med schools 🙂
