I think we all look different IRL than on facebook. My hair is straight in most of my facebook pictures or I'm in my guard outfit complete with massive amounts of makeup. IRL I have curly hair and don't usually wear makeup at all.

Yeah, for every flight they are like, "this is expired, you can't use it." Really annoying.

Actually, that hasn't happened for me. It just happens in liquor stores and bars OOS. Mostly Seattle, they were really annoying about it.

I had to drink caffeine on a roadtrip to stay awake. I felt like an addict! Oh, and I had the Thai iced tea that was amazing.

I'm trying to avoid cutting my hair until med school starts. I cut it before my first interview and I'm trying to squeeze all my interviews into about a month and a half to keep from having to cut it again. haha

I don't know. This M2 at OSU I was talking to had pretty long hair that he didn't even cut for interviews, and he worked at a free clinic. Of course, it wasn't as excessively long and curly as mine - but whatever. I'm doing it.

I dunno. I'm not all that anonymous, actually. If you'd met me and then go back and find my mdapps, you'd automatically know who I was. About 3 people have done that after interviews, actually. I think the goal is just so that people don't know everything about you are before they meet you.

I don't really care that much, I don't have anything to hide.

Nah, no worries. I originally became more anonymous after pressure from some mods worried about me getting stalked (my avatar was my picture). And then when we all applied, I think we all got paranoid about adcoms finding out who we were, but I don't think there's anything wrong with being on SDN, so it's just a matter of personal preference. As long as you're not a total tool, being less anonymous won't hurt you.
