Class of 2014!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
hey, ciello showed up! hi! :hello:

holla!
wait its gotta be for what its worth (and i didnt even have to google it🙂)
I think this thread has sufficiently covered that one. Good teamwork, guys!

I've never understood why it is that polygamy is illegal.
because the US government wanted to crush Mormonism in their attempts to uphold their values, i.e. be Christian

Ksmi, I'm surprised you didn't stay in NOLA tonight and party it up. One of my best friends from elementary school just got into Tulane Early Decision today. I think it's way too expensive for in-state compared to LSU-NO, but whatever.

Which one did you like better?

Tulane does have the cool school of tropical medicine, but that's it.

I liked Tulane better. Better facilities I think. Their simlab is amazing. And I really liked their emphasis on community service, but I'm sure I can get that anywhere.

No, it's real.

What does it mean?

I've never understood why it is that polygamy is illegal.

i read this cool book called Why Beautiful People Have More Daughters and it explains why polygamy would actually be more beneficial to women than to men. i cant explain it in detail because i have been drinking but i guess as a reproductive strategy it is more effective that way (which is called polyandry i think as opposed to polygamy)

Well, you know I don't like that, but it's good to see you actually being decisive about something school-related.

We must meet up sometime at school to discuss my Vandy experience.

pros: i would be clean afterwards.
cons: i would have to get up off the couch. i would lose my straight hair from yesterday's interview. my roommate left the mop in the shower so i'd have to go move that.

NO.

seems like the cons outweigh the pros, i wouldnt do it if i were you haha

Hmm, I can't do lunch next week. Week after? Tuesday? Wednesday?

You could pull your hair up and not get it wet.

dw, either your roommate is a clean freak like my roommate last year, or is just a freak, like my freshman roommate.

that's what i usually do, but it's pretty dirty... i think i've just gotta suck it up and wash it.

if only! i am a huge neat freak. i am rosh sherutim (hebrew for bathroom captain) and i mop the floors in there at least twice a week. it's a small room, so instead of using a mop bucket, etc., i just rinse the mop in the tub and clean the tub when i'm done. one of my roommates is rosh mitbach (kitchen captain) and she decided to use my technique for the kitchen floors as well... but she kind of missed the part where you remove the mop and clean the tub afterwards. our third roommate has yet to do any of her chores and we've been living here for a few months now

and yes, our chore titles are 100% jokes.

I've never successfully done that

you gotta wrap it in a doo rag like aunt jemima 👍

my hair is too long to wash every day so i am a pro at this. wash every other day= shiny hair 🙂

haha i wash mine 1-2 times per week. but when i don't wash it i let it get wet so i can condition it. ah, parched curly hair.

If people wanna do it, let them. Freaking govt regulates so much crap it shouldn't. I could never deal with multiple wives, though.

Amen to that!

I wonder what kind of tax breaks polygamists would get.

i completely understand and sympathize! ah, the joys of curly hair🙂

okay! i have decided. i am going to shower. and no i will not ptap, Blue. :uhno:

Hey, Substance - I think you should retire that avatar out of respect to 0Complications. Wasn't that his avatar, guys?

I don't know... I think he was before my time. It's almost ski season and I kind of like it, so I'm probably going to keep it... Sorry.

Curly hair ftw.

I'm a huge fan of brown curly hair. But they need to wash it! 😉

Hello 2014ers, I have decided to return to this fine thread after my long hiatus. I was trying to focus on apps and stuff so I swore myself off of SDN for a bit. How is everybody progressing? I'm sure ksmi already has 132 acceptances, even though there are only 131 U.S. medical schools, and it's pre Oct. 15.

Nice to see you back! It's been a while.

I heard Princeton opened a med school just for her.
