While my app. is more non-trad and "unique," I would be willing to say that while I'm an interesting person to invite, I, more than you two, have to prove that I belong.

sorry about wake forest bam, you'll get into other good schools though.

interviews are a luck of the draw. i dont think its all about the interviewee. honestly, a school is more than happy just weeding out applicants in not so standardized ways. i feel like they just want to pick a class and get it over with and move on. so they could throw a douchebag at you, and that doucebag could **** on everyone's performance. if 60% of the applicants have to go through that dude and get axed, i still think a school would overlook that and just take the other 40% and make it work.

anyway that sounded confusing. but its a crapshoot indeed and all throughout the process too. you didn't want to be in winston salem anyway. lot of tobacco companies. bad influence. also, their college basketball team has produced top level NBA talent and never got too far on the NCAA tourney.

i actually predicted the time they lost (when they had chris paul) to kevin pittsnoogle and west virginia. that year my bracket ranked 12th in all of yahoo, which was pretty sick. i wish i put that on my app. i think the dude that ran my pool skimmed some money off the top, i only won $100.

i forgot what i was actually talking about. but yea, good run by pierre thomas
 
i was supposed to have visited my parents (20 min drive) last week, didnt
then i said friday night, didnt
saturday afternoon, i didnt
i said noon today, i think i'll leave after this drive (see if they go for the 4th, maybe theyll just try to get an offside)

yea they been pretty solid

honestly its just been Matt Leinart, Reggie Bush, and all the WRs that came about from that offense. I think Matt could still have a future. maybe not though

yo i want a mean interviewer.

they tried tho throw one with the beta interviewer at duke. but im kind of an *******. so we got along really well. i think. he called me a renaissance man. is that a bad thing? i was like im not really van gogh, and he was like **** that, van gogh was just one dimensional, you are better than that. you are like da vinci. i was like not really. but cool. i think he was a trauma/ed doc from the northeast. which is a great fit of personality with me.

the girl before me that interviewed was about to cry though. i didnt take that interview too seriously since i still have no chance of getting into dook, and my ex went to the undergrad so i have natural distaste for the school

You know, it did feel like an odd place. I had this feeling that I was "back home" and not for the warm and fuzzies. We actually had a tour guide tell our group that (regarding research opportunities) it "all depends on who you know."

And not in that "I've worked hard and proven myself to make connections that will serve me well in the future," but more in that "who are you and where are you from" sort of way.

Some people embrace the corndog thing and eat tons of them tailgating. That is, when we're not whole roasting the opposing team's mascot.

Some gator will be good this weekend, I prefer blackened to fried, but they're both amazing.
