Class of 2014!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I was suprised how nice of an area WashU is in.

i can see that. penn campus is nice, but the surrounding area is ****ty. its not like columbia undergrad or hopkins undergrad though. its at least connected to the city and not blocked off. not a fan of schools that kinda shun the city with fences. not saying that Wash U is like that, but im just taking a tangent on topical here

I'm not a fan of residence halls though. I would only live in one if it was somewhere like NYC where the school rents the rooms to you way below market value.

You should market that as one of your best qualities to schools.

yea man, if only i was a marketing major. i heard you have to be a really pretty girl to be successful in that field though

dude you are gonna get accepted to every single school. you have enough interviewing exp by now, why so nervous

Because I don't have an answer to "Why Wash U?" yet. And I haven't really discussed my research in depth yet.

Would that be at RWJDMSGGHJRTGBADFNGNG-NJ? (There's lot of letters in both of them)

no that will be NJMS, Robert Wood Johnson is by Rutgers. A nice neat school. If you are ever at rutgers, you should get a fat sandwich. you can get everything in a sandwhich for $5. that includes chicken strips, mozzarella sticks, french fries, your choice of sauce, veggies, cheese on a footlong roll. it tastes like ****, but seems like you are getting a lot for your money which is sometimes a thing to brag about.

you had to describe it to JBA, i could tell from the interview feedback which was very helpful btw 🙂

I saw that on Food or Travel. Of course, I'm in NJ so often.

its drunk food. but metallica, if you interview at NYU, which you probly will, you should go to 53rd and 6th and get some chicken and rice. you'll like it. its only open from 730 PM to 630 AM though. and you kinda wanna go at 230 AM. but if you interview at NYC, make it into a trip. Also, just sneak into NYU's MSTP interview group cuz they treat them to all you can eat sushi

man packers offensive line is so beat, they wouldnt be able to protect someone from chris brown

Well, I'm glad you think I can snag an interview at NYU.

If I got an interview there, I would try to make it into a week long trip if I could (esp if I could get it over winter :xf:). I've never been northeast of DC. 🙁

brooklyn, you're like a kid with ADHD on this thread. you post at a rate of like 3 / minute.

i told you it feels pretty good to make it home safe in my neighborhood. i get pretty excited at home because i cant be too conspicuous on the street

That's really not a good thing, I don't think I could deal with that everyday.

Reminds me - one adcom asked me if my family and I were okay with me living in New Orleans. I was like "never had a problem before, I come here quite a bit"

weird. so theres been a really small roach in my bathroom thats been dead and stuck tightly in the corner. it hasnt moved in like 3 weeks (yea i been lazy but its the only nasty thing in my apartment). i just came back and saw it in a totally different spot (still dead in the same position). no windows open, no air. i wonder how it moved. could have been a minor earthquake. or a group of ants could have moved it.

i haven't had ants in a while, but they are coming back because its getting warmer. or maybe because im getting so antsy over this med school app process

Speaking of which... it is time to throw out those FOUR bags of trash that I've been successfully ignoring for far too long...

speaking of WashU, i know a kid that interviewed a while back and he actually took his mom and gf with him to the interview. speaking of NYU, that kid goes there now

I've only seen one person so far bring someone else along. At Baylor, there was a guy with his wife. My gf came to Vandy with me, but she just explored the campus once I got to Light Hall until I was done.

ok so im welcoming myself back. im interviewing tomorrow so have tons of time tonight!

as for the sig other convo...i saw a wife and husband at UTH. she wasnt applying to med school but was real cute. needless to say...he wasnt so cute.

:/

holy **** guys, my fantasy team is 4-0. Blowouts for 3 of them. Damn I'm good.

Maybe it was the same couple. The guy I saw just looked normal, if you're saying he was ugly.

Welcome back, btw.

the campus was nice

It really was. Plus, it was a beautiful day. I wish the tour would've been longer. That's my main complaint for every single school except LSU-NO.
