Class of 2014!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
well I pmed you but its Jason Thompson of the Kings, he was a lottery pick. he got lucky that SAC didn't get the first overall during the lottery and they drafted Tyreke instead of Blake. his bro will probably make the league

crazy thing about him. he was 6'1 freshman year of HS and 6'11 senior year of college. he used to work out at my local gym

rumor is that there is a use of performance enhancements but i dont believe it. im from a gossipy ass town in Jersey and we make up **** all the time.

Oh cool; that's definitely more than a fringe player. He's defnitely a guy with a lot of potential. Which is saying something, considering how incredible he's gotta be compared to mere mortals.

Shame that he's stuck on such a bad team, but then again, as long as you're in the league I guess there's not really a bad way to make your millions. But the Kings are the one team in the league that I have trouble figuring out how they're going to make the playoffs even in like 5 years. Everyone on their team is either mediocre and overpaid (Kenny Thomas, Beno Udrih, etc) or the kind of "full of potential" guy that usually doesn't make it to true star level (Thompson, Hawes, Garcia).

i. hate. flu.

that is all.

Lame 🙁

be different, you won't ever get another chance to be!

idk, i think colorguard is kinda different and cool.

in other news, one of my roommates is listening to the glee soundtrack-- so it's high schoolers performing covers of terrible songs like "halo" and "walking on sunshine." i mean, i love her but make the bad music stopppp

you gotta be different from yourself. psh, not everything is comparing yourself to the world

tell that girl to put on save the last dance OST

the DVDs i receive from netflix are of consistently shoddy quality-- little skips and weird color blotches. argh.

i dont even know what a color guard is. i imagine its an assistant to the kindergarten teacher that watches over kids to make sure they dont eat the colors

or it could be the guy from The Giver (throwback book that you have all read). remember how they had no colors.

giver = best book ever. thanks for reminding me of that.

Original Soundtrack

so i went to go buy an emergency pair of headphones last night just for temporary gym use. i go to CVS, i bought a pair of phillips. turned out to be bluetoof headsets, so i returned it. it was 1015 pm so the only thing open was Penn's BN bookstore so i got a crappy set of JVC in ear ones that are supposed to be gummy and sticky but were just ****ty and the bass was choppy. waste of $16.

i started buying headphones in pairs a while ago, but i think i have to go in triplicates.

any suggestions for the big over the ear ones and/or in ear ones?

i dont know, the hatchet was so much better than the giver. and it got better each of the 38 times that i read it

Blockbuster DVDs are like that too. I think people let their kids put in the rented DVDs and then they get all scratchy👎

👎

So what you're saying is that I haven't diversified myself enough in college??? I'm confused by your argument here.
It's ok. I was an undiversified college student.

post the status response. 98% of my pics on fb was me chugging something or being way too happy. when my cousins started to join that ****, i had to bounce

Okay I'm off tonight guys. Have fun, and get better ksmi.

whats wrong with ksmi? is she sick too?

Blue, while you are at MSSM, head to 81st and 2nd (street and ave) and go to this Japanese restaurant called Yuka. They have all you can eat sushi for $21 per person. Its freshmade sushi, you basically check off a card and whatever you like and they make and serve it for you. good stuff.

sounds like a cool class.

It actually is a very fascinating class. So far, we've focused mainly on the Civil Rights Movement and Voting Rights Act, their effects on the South, how politicians reacted to them, political coalitions that formed, etc. I've had to read two books for the midterm, and it just so happens that some of my relatives were discussed briefly... in both books.

No way!! The Giver was much better.

What was your favorite required reading of middle/high school? Mine was probably "To Kill a Mockingbird."

Why would I need to practice for that?

thats pretty cool.

the only cool class that i took was on the history of the media (journalism) class. i wish i could be a journalist. like sanjay. apparently he performed 3 neurosurgeries while doing a report in iraq

My status: "We're learning about polycystic kidney disease today in med school. Miss you, Emma, and thinking of you."

Response: "In the future, you might want to split those two messages up. There's nothing very romantic about kidney disease. Just a thought."

Emma is not the name of my girlfriend (whom this adult has met on several occasions). It's the name of my friend who died of PKD a few years ago 🙁

OK, time to go get my interviewee from the airport. No, I don't know why I said I'd do that. I'm dumb.

That's what I mean. The strategy is easily explained in football: it's actually written down. In baseball it's ingrained in every aspect of the game.
Being written down doesn't make it easy though. They have to apply it properly. Plus, it's not like they have time to flip through the physical book on the sidelines.

Chronicle of a Death Foretold by Gabriel Marquez. IDK why, i just liked it cause it was short

You guys are racking up posts like mad.

Good work 😀

i would like to learn more about this color guarding business. is there a movie about it, like drumline, bring it on (1/2)?

Haha, no colorguard movie would be successful. We're the fat dance team rejects, duh. But you can see colorguards in some movies that involve halftime shows.
