So, I have a question. I don't really feel like starting a new thread over it... (but if you think that's necessary, let me know)...
I am currently enrolled in Genetics. I taking classes this semester to complete a second degree in Political Science (I already completed my Speech Communication degree and Political Science minor last May). I have all A's in my other classes, and in Genetics I am at a B average right now. Under normal circumstances, I would be just fine with this. However, I have calculated by GPA with a B, and if I have even 1 B (or B+) this semester, I lose my Summa Cum Laude status.
Here's the question: should I drop the class? I really have no attachment to it other than what it may look like to Adcoms. In all honesty, I will probably continue going to the class to learn the material, but I don't want that B to mess up my 3.9.
What are your thoughts?

Do you have another semester to make it up? If so, then don't drop it. If not, I don't think schools will see the drop unless you specifically update them or they specifically ask you to update them with a transcript.
I'm kind of in the same situation as you. I don't care what happens with my grades, I just (for personal reasons) don't want to lose my whatever laude thingy I'm at right now. I'm not going to bust my ass to move up, either.

It's really something you gotta decide for yourself. How bad do you want that summa cum laude? Personally, I kinda want it, just for all the work I've put in. I don't know if I would drop a class to get it, though. Are you not taking classes next semester?
Well, I get my Political Science degree this December, so no. But, I really wouldn't need to make it up because it doesn't count for really anything in my degree. It's just an extra class I signed up for, nothing more than that. All it does count for is my GPA.
I feel for you guys. It was painful for me to do anything scholastic for my last 1.5 semesters of college.
Maybe the key is if you legitimately think you can't get an A without killing yourself. It is your last semester of (kind of) undergrad. Have fun. Just make sure you can explain it to schools, later. But you might not have to.
Your call ultimately.

Hey guys, I'm just wondering as to how to answer this question:
If a patient requested of you a procedure that is both legal and medically safe but that conflicts with your personal code of ethics, how would you handle it?
I am not sure how I feel about it yet

I would inform of pros and cons, say I wouldn't feel comfortable doing it personally and refer if necessary. That's probably not how I would say it in an actual interview, but the gist.
