That's awesome. FSU is by far my highest (time spent on secondary/love shown to me) ratio of all schools

Yeah, I absolutely loved it there. But I didn't realize how much I loved it until I went there so I figured I'd give other schools a shot if I got lucky enough to be offered an interview.

dude same here! I spent sooooo much time on their secondary, and i've got no love at all 🙁

Sammich, honestly, FSU is a very good school, i'd prolly like to go there over UF 'cause i think my laid back attitude would fit there much better and they both prepare you pretty well for residencies.
 
It actually worked out well, though. I did my FSU secondary first and then used those essays as the base for pretty much the rest of my secondaries, so while FSU didn't give me an interview, their essay prompts did

Will you be at NYMC then?

January 11th was the earliest offered. So I will be spending that weekend in New York. My first time to the city!

yea ill be there next month...i was seriously considering that monday the 11th for some reason, but i snagged an earlier date.

you will (probably) love the city! i always have a great time in nyc.

just for novelty, when you are there, make a reservation at please dont tell and spend a couple hours there, you wont regret it.

i still want to tease you over the nole thing tho 🙁 it's just such a rare opportunity, and i have accumulated so many ways to insult FSU over my 6+ years @ UF :laugh: You'll learn a million UF insults within the first couple of months @ FSU if you end up there 😎

These days, I'm really thinking about getting out of the state. I've been in Florida, and especially Gainesville, for so long that I feel like I'm ready for a change now, at least to a big city. The only Florida school I'd still really yearn for would be maybe Miami since it's huge, but then again, I have a pretty low level of self discipline and I'm afraid I'll be too distracted there. I really don't know what type of environment would truly suit me 😕

This is y'alls thread, so you guys do what you want, and if you want to kick certain convos out that's cool... but I will say that if such a thread is made, it will probably be moved to All-Students. There are only so many social-ish threads that will fit into an actually on-topic forum. Most forums actually don't allow off-topic threads at all.

Honestly, this is like the first time it's been brought up all day. If people can't deal with one annoying topic per day in an off-topic thread... well...

also, metallica is so friggin lucky. melo and kobe are playing FOUR times this week while timmy only plays twice 🙁 AND the Lakers went into OT today. Now he might beat me even tho his team blows :/
 
if people find the bball talk annoying, i think some people will find other conversation annoying too
