Highly-I am 99.9% sure that I am withdrawing my app from all but two of my other schools-Duke and Emory. I really really liked Tulane, and if it is my only choice-I will be more than ecstatic to go.
But I have to admit that if I get an acceptance from Duke-I will go there without a second thought.
If not, it will be between Tulane and Emory (provided that I get accepted).


PS-it blows my mind that they got back to me in 2 days. Wow after what my other schools have put me through!

Haha, what a change of pace eh? but you do realize that the only reason you got in is because dinosaurs are highly underrepresented in medicine(along with birds) right? 😉

I don't know your financial situation, but it might be a good idea to go on a couple more interviews to get some good scholarship offers. Congrats again tho, I'm really happy that you got into one of your top choices, so quickly after the interview too!

I only have 2 interviews left. Definitely going to my Emory interview.
I still need to confer with my mama about what I should do in terms of waiting hoping for a scholarship-but I doubt that I would trade happiness for cheapness at this point.

Haha-Yea I told my friend that the little birdie is 1/8th correct as of now!


Oh and I got a VM from the Dr. that interviewed me at Mercer-which they told us is what happened when you get accepted....but by this point I am not even thinking about them. Going to withdraw def-give someone else a chance to be a doctor.

I mean they did tell me "2 to 3 weeks" during my faculty interviews.
I bet it was the cat story that swayed them to hurry the heck up 😛

i just made AMAZING chocolate chocolate chip cookies with mint-chocolate icing 😀

at least, i hope they're amazing... because i have to bring them to work tomorrow for a party so i can't eat any now

What?! You can't eat any right now? Isn't that cookie-making policy, that you have to eat the cookie dough and sample the icing during the cooking process? They sound delicious!
