Agreed.

College football this weekend = absolutely amazing.

This weekend saved the season in my eyes. Underdogs, rivalries, etc. Nothing beats college football rivalry games. BTW, ACC sucks.
 
One thing to definitively prove that the SEC is down this year:

Alabama (8-0), Florida (8-0), and LSU (5-3) were the only teams to finish above .500 in conference play. 👎
 
I look forward to going to a school where sports matter...I am tired of apathy lol...it is like you guys are speaking a foreign language right now

anyways...anyone else think that the new Lady Gaga "Bad Romance" vid is super weird and somehow mesmerizing?
The bit with her in the shower makes me think about "The hills have eyes" yet I cannot look away......eek

Yeah I think that's the case across college football this year. Less legitimately good teams and bad teams, worldwide mediocrity. It was definitely a down year for the Big 12 as well, and yet there really hasn't been another conference that's risen up to make anyone dispute those as the top two conferences.

Totally agree. Awesome awesome games this weekend. Wish I could have seen more of them though. The rest of the season was pretty boring. Like NFL boring.

So true. 🙁 After the game my captain (who obviously knows nothing about football) was like "We should definitely go to the Captial One Bowl. The team deserves it." I'm sorry a 5-3 team does not deserve a bowl that good. I'm glad we have a good chance of going, but that's cause of luck, not because we're really good this year.

Well I trained for ACT in the summer, and MCAT at the end of September. And I was doing lesson plans but my first class that was supposed to be like a month ago got canceled, so here I am.

Kit Kat is teaching now because very few people study for the MCAT in the fall. The big ones are the Spring and Summer MCAT so the companies plan accordingly. There are some sections for the Jan. MCAT but people flake out of that like cereal.

Yeah... the USC/OSU and Texas/OU games should have been big but they kinda wound up being duds.

i think in training they make you teach a couple of lessons. MCAT teaching is fun but i bet the girls are hotter in GRE/GMAT/LSAT classes
 
My friend wound up spending Thanksgiving alone because the Tuesday before her toilet shattered, flooding her bathroom and, apparently, leaking to the outside of her house, indicating some major not-good things with her house that she felt needed to be addressed ASAP.

I well-justified in blowing my diet to help her eat half of a pepperoni pizza tonight as a makeup Thanksgiving 🙂

Yeah so they've been saying since maybe their inception. Every year they try and play up that THIS is the year they're gonna make the playoffs, and every year they don't. It's like a never-ending "wait till next year" mode.

He was being nice and filling in for someone else who normally works there. Unfortunately, during his time, the teleprompter malfunctioned and so he was already nervous as it was, add that to his inexperience and you get this video!

I think he actually works for a news network now. *nods*

i think I've had at least like 20-25 plane rides in the last few months and I have never sat next to a (the) hot girl on the plane. anyone else go through this? you wait around for hours in the airport and see like 10 hot women in the gate but you end up sitting next to some obese sick alligator every single time
