I'm not calling people dumb....I simply said there was a study which concluded....and by the way, I didn't conduct the study but unfortunately it appears to be spot on (with no reference to our climate discussion). 😛


ESPN made me pretty peevy this am. Luckily EPSN is also perking me up with First Word (whats up with the dudes sign that asks if "baby doctors play around the barn"?). and I finally got my ESPN Mag in the mail after signing up to Insider like a year ago. Jackson was a bench player for me bc I have Jones and Charles. I needed a WR bad bc I was starting housh every week. Now I don't have to!

Ray Rice has been absolutely tearing it up and has more fantasy points than Moss. I have Mendenhall and haven't started him in weeks. Jackson has been getting more carries recently because Lynch is terrible. I guess if you really needed a receiver, it was an OK move. But otherwise I don't like it.

You know, the stereotypes that you're shocked about (riding horses to school) are the same stereotypes you're perpetuating with your ideas about LA. I'm not saying there isn't some truth to it, but it's not like ksmi, metallica and I are the only 3 "decent" or "sane" people in the state.

And I only use the words "decent" and "sane" because you've been saying things like LA is stupid, LA should get the mushroom cloud (which I don't think anyone should get, nor should be joked about), and commenting on the location of a development that was established hundreds of years ago.....

I hoped that you were joking, but even if you are, it's hard to determine on an online forum, and those who don't think you're joking can be seriously offended.

Yeah losing Rice is a heavy blow. But I have to win this week to make the playoffs.

Mendenhall is drawing the Raiders this week and Rice is against GB who has shut down pretty much every running attack. And I think Moss and Co. aren't gonna get shut down for two weeks in a row.

Basically it came down to Mendenhall + Moss > Rice + Housh

Honestly, at my undergrad there were some profs who were pretty adamant about the whole global warming thing. And these were some pretty smart guys; one of them reviewed papers for one of the premier physics journals out there. So I'm not sure what I think; when you compare our world's climate against, you know, 4 billion years in the making, is it a changing? Maybe, maybe not. But if it's just random noise, then the last hundred years have been PRETTY abnormal, climate-wise.

So yeah, I'm undecided. I don't love the theory, but I don't completely discredit the people who believe it either.

I'm neutral. my state has about 500K people in it (yup, more cows than peeps) so that makes it wildly attractive. however the fact that Lady Gaga is *just* starting to get popular here should speak volumes. we's behind the times. for reals. I'm pretty much in full on panic mode anytime I hit two lane interstates.
