Yeah, I've been playing for 8+ years now. I was in a band and still kind of am, but we don't play much anymore since we go to different schools. I think our MySpace (Split Infinity is the name) still exists, even though it's really old (from high school).

I think that Vince was much better in college than Tebow. Tebow wins points in my book for passion and versatility, very strong running QB and decent passer. He won't be a QB in the NFL though...maybe a tight end? who knows.

I rank Tebow in the top 10 all time amongst QBs (in terms of stats, heisman, national titles) but probably not 1-5.

i do think peyton was heralded from the beginning of college to be the most NFL ready though. much more so than the people we are talking about

Not terribly.

I think we have to let it sink in for a while before ranking Tebow. He was already in the running to be one of the greatest in the college game. I think he has the potential to be #1 on that list.... simply because RB is the star studded position in college up until recently with all the spread offenses emerging.

Now if you are comparing Tebow to Danny Wuerffel that's two totally different styles. Or Leinart for that matter.
