I didn't want to, but my mom actually wrote my a check to take it and after she gave it to me I felt bad - so I got the shot.

It's been raining here for forever. But yeah, the last 3 or 4 times I've been to Atlanta they didn't have the foutains running anywhere because of the drought.

what have you heard? i'm actually not that inclined to stick around chicago, esp not living downtown (read: iowa seemed pretty nice in terms of traffic, etc. plus, i could live on a farm!! 🙂) but i still think it's odd that i worked for them, and not even a yes/no yet

i heard that the faculty is unfriendly and they (esp the director + administration) stop supporting you after you matriculate. apparently people were told this by their student interviewers, who said that they really regretted going there and that northwestern is too occupied with rankings etc
 
Anybody want to go to the CapitalOne bowl? I now have an extra ticket because my roommate told me to get him one, not knowing they are non-refundable - and now he says he can't go. 😡

Well if you're standing still, not very long because people will get bored with it. But if you are walking around it can potentially last a long time because you'll keep walking by people who aren't bored of it yet.

I now have only 300 pages left to read by Thursday. Yes! My eyes feel all tired now from reading all that in 2 hours.
