Anyone here who interviewed extensively on the East Coast develop a Dunkin' Donuts addiction? I did.

I live in CA and I can't find a single place anywhere. The stuff's like drugs.

I met Luun in real life before SDN! We had an interview at Morehouse together...she probably remembers me as the girl whose interviewer was 30 minutes late :X

but one of the good things about living in a seemingly trashy neighborhood is that if you work hard, see good results and just present yourself well to the people that work and live in your area, you start forming a really tight bond with the town that you are in. gotta love the tri-state and i'm gonna miss it

I felt like such an idiot when I realized that I had joked myself into a preeeety tight corner.

I am flattered but one of the things he said was like "Maybe if I get into Duke Law, I will be worthy of dating you" which I took as a complete joke cause NOONE would say such ridiculous things to me for real. I replied with a joke about how I can't get rid of dem boys always hounding me and that I now carry a stick in my handbag with which to fend them off with." If someone was (semi) serious with their statement...my response comes across as soooo douchey!

oh...it did not scare him off. I am a lady and will not say what else he said but trust me....nobody is scared but me. lol (not of him...he is actually a really nice guy...so I am scared of offending him or making him feel like a led him on)

dont think it would get crazy. im not a fan of going to the georgetown area for NYE, but to be honest, the fratty elitist schools have some pretty good time and the people are actually cool once you get to know them

it was either DC/NYC/PHI/Atlantic City.

Ahhh....well that's not so bad then. My coworker at the lab had much worse experience. She was talking to some dude in the supermarket, then after a while, she was pretty sure he was gay, and suggested this gay club to him. The dude just went quiet for a while and then told her he wasn't gay.

Awkward.
