Is Vick still under contract with the Eagles next year? Or was it a one-year deal?

One year deal, but I believe there is an option for next year.

Do our picks increase in weight as we go deeper in the playoffs? Like this week's picks are worth 1 point, next week's are worth 2 points, etc. Or are we just going based on record?

I'm not sure if I'm more rooting for the Cards tonight to prolong Warner's career a little longer (he's apparently retiring after this season) or for the Pack to watch Rodgers' continued emergence/keep the dream for Favre v. Packers III alive.

One thing I'm not looking forward to next week's Cowboy's game: the over/under on the number of times someone on the announcers points out "this could be Favre's last game" is probably 9.5 or so 🙄

Believe it or not, I missed the NE BAL game. :smack:

Thought it started at 1:30 like yesterday's game.
You didn't miss much.

We hadn't talked about it. I guess I'd be wanting increasing in weight

I'm not sure who I'm rooting to play the Saints in this game...

Arizona is on and off, but if their passing game is on :scared:

Green Bay's defense is good, but their offense can run fairly well.

This is like a repeat of the pats ravens start....GB must want ot lose😕

Wow. I don't think anybody expected this.

EDIT: 5000

You expected the Cards to be up 14-0 in the first 5 minutes? 😱

If so, congrats.
lol no but i did think the cards will win this game. If I could predict that good i dont think id be going to medicine, maybe a career in vegas might be better 😛

Spurs, are you a Cowboys or a Texans fan?

Cowboys by far. I live in Houston now, but I grew up in San Antonio and the Texans weren't in existence when I started caring about football. Also I just started caring about football a couple of years after their last Super Bowl win, so my existence as an NFL fan has been pretty miserable so far.

There are 12 NFL teams that made the playoffs at least half of the time this last decade (including this season, so 2000-2009 regular seasons). There are three teams that NEVER made the playoffs. Name them without looking them up.

I'll post the answers in about half an hour 🙂

What about Rangers vs Astros?

Lions for sure.

Texans because they were trying to make it for the first time this season.

I want to say the 49ers but I think they made it once when Mariucci was the coach.

ohh bills you are right i think. I forgot i think the browns made it that one year anderson played well?...

The Browns are a really good guess, I just remember it very well because the Saints barely missed the playoffs that year and one of the losses was to the Browns and the game was blacked out on TV.

The Browns barely lost to the Steelers, I remember.

3 teams that never made it:

1. Houston Texans
2. Detroit Lions
3. Buffalo Bills (last playoff game was the Music City Miracle in January, 2000, but that was indeed technically the 1999 season.)

12 teams that made it 5 times this decade (I'm really not sure about some of these):

1. New England Patriots
2. Pittsburgh Steelers
3. Indianapolis Colts
4. Philadelphia Eagles
5. San Diego Chargers
6. Green Bay Packers
7. Denver Broncos
8. Minnesota Vikings
9. New York Jets
10. Tennessee Titans
11. Baltimore Ravens
12. New York Giants

I'm assuming this was a guess, right? Because it's not correct :meanie:

Yeah, it was a guess.

Now I'm thinking that the Buccaneers belong in that group.

They had a lot of very good years early in the decade.
